Due to a health scare in 2017, we decided to start enjoying life more outside our business. We bought a Lodge on the east coast of England and started vlogging our daily adventures

Hello my lovely friends! So glad you enjoyed visiting our beautiful city - but particularly glad you visited the Anglican cathedral. When I had pancreatic cancer I used to visit a lot - still do now - I get so much comfort from the building itself and even if you're not religious, it's such a special place. When I was well enough after I finished chemo, I abseiled down the front of the building to raise money for Clatterbridge Cancer Hospital in Liverpool. I'll get you to do it with me next time, Nick - all for our Gail ;) lots of love xxx

When Leigh says the white star line cafe reminded him of titanic it will be named after the same company as the head office was in Liverpool but the ship was built in Ireland. The Titanic had Liverpool on the back of it

Lovely weather for the ducks 🤣🤣🤣. With all the rain we have had (Northern California) we have ponds where they never used to be and it never ceases to amaze me that a duck or two will find them. We even had a freeway shut down due to flooding and there were 2 ducks happily paddling away.

The Feeling I Get When I See There’s a New Vlog: I open TH-cam front page tells me there’s a new Lodge Guys to watch, my body goes into a kind of weepy moment, like I’m just about to see a family member who lives very far away, talk & show their life to me, 2 very important people, who have been to hell & back these past few months, the emotions my body goes thru is amazing really, I want to thank you both for giving that to me, it’s a Wonderful feeling, weird to some probably, weird for you to hear probably, lol, from the bottom of my heart, Thank You.❤❤

I was up St Johns tower a few weeks ago! Great views and it was a blue sky day. Great parking tip.
Oh wow. Didn’t think you were coming to Liverpool again! My home town…lime street train station. The museum and St George’s hall. All great to see.
Bt tower is only a restaurant on special occasions(mainly charity events) you can go up there for a view but only at specific times generally when they have the London open days of all the buildings in London.
We’ve been up a few times including last December and it’s a great experience
My son had his graduation at the cathedral, it's an amazing place
So nice to see Liverpool and the Cathedral. I would love to hear the pipe organ when it's finished. As a Liverpool fan, I'd love to see Anfield as well.

I can see the church from North Wales at my workplace on the top of a hill and the city tower on a clear day! We're 1.5hr drive away!
Nice to see you guys visting my home town, i went up the Radio City tower a couple of years ago, my legs turned into jelly, i dont like heights.
Southport is seasonal it’s Northwest’s Bridlington! I haven’t been up the city tower in years. St John’s car park also has free EV charging

Really enjoyed your vlog and your trip to the AirBnB and Liverpool. The Cathedral looks amazing. I would love to hear the organ being played and the bells ring, I bet it is spectacular. Looking forward to your vlog from the Lake District
Liverpool is one special city has lots of history culture and just fantastic to visit out side of London, you want to book a hotel for 2 days and have a good walk round when the weathers nice loads of nice friendly people, Albert docks for food and drink in the summer in amazing and the shopping and also the museums example submarine boat on the other side of the river Mersey and the old war rooms for the battle of the Atlantic and plenty of beautiful building to look at and also the comedy club is a great place to stop good laugh (Paul smith) and even spa hotels Hilton etc after a long day on your feet.
St. George’s Hall exterior was used in the new Batman film with Robert Pattison

Fun fact the two cathedrals the Catholic one (space mountain or paddy’s wigwam) was designed by an Anglican and the Anglican one was designed by a Catholic who also designed the iconic red phone box

I don’t think I ever realized how big a city Liverpool is until seeing the view from the tower. And that cathedral does look absolutely stunning. The view from the top of the cathedral that you showed was also quite impressive.
