  • My notes on a rear seat delete platform, with built in subwoofer enclosure and amplifier mount. Couldn’t justify the price of the Goose Gear option, so thought I’d try my own. Swapping between the rear seats and this platform takes about 15 minutes. The sub enclosure is semi permanent, and works with either the rear seats or the delete platform.

Super clean and nice functional build. Best rear seat delete set-up I’ve seen online. 👍🏽

Awesome Job. I would bet that if you sold the plans or a templates, you could probably make some extra money. I'd buy them, best DIY delete I have seen so far!!!!

Great job and I like how you did the rug on top. Something never mentioned with the goose gear is that its very slick for dogs so in addition to the high cost you still need to do something if your goal was dog transport. The sub enclosures are expertly done, love it. I like the idea to clean up the area even if you aren't putting radio gear back there. Only thing I would do differently from yours and every other on TH-cam is cover the cup holders so my dog doesn't step in the holes accidentally. In your case, with the tether, that wouldn't be an issue of course. But that's just my goal, eliminating any nooks and crannies and holes that could lead to a leg injury in an unexpected traffic situation/turbulence. Making the rug top removable instead of spray adhesive/upholstery style permanent helps with cleaning, no such thing with dog hair though right? Awesome detail, rubber bumpers, automotive door edging on metal pieces, wire management, shocks, nylon bushings, nothing fancy he says. I would hire you to do mine, great work, great attention to detail.

Thats the best one yet. Do you have the measurements by chance for that. . I buolt a platform for my dogs too and they love ot. But the back part of yours is way better than what i did.

Holy hell,, that is beautiful. I was looking for alternatives to buying Goose gear. Time to work on that skill set.

Oh wow! Stumbled upon your video while doing some research on doing something similar. Super impressed and will be stealing some of your ideas.

Impressive! Your skill and planning really shine on this. Well done. GooseGear is awesome but over 300 for some wood is a tough pill to swallow.

If you have the factory sub, and get the whole seat delete from goose gear, it's over $1500, not including shipping. LOL

Hello to begin , very nice delete solution. I also have two subs that I had under the seat and was finding doing a delete more challenging. I was very thankful to have found your post. Mh dad and I have been trying our best but to implement some of your design into out build. Do you plan on doing a more in depth video or perhaps one that is filmed a little further away so the viewers can have a better look at the shapes and things?

I saw that you used the existing holes for the seat but replaced the Etorx bolts, what did you use?
