3:57 This scene you just heard in Day of Judgement, maybe followed by the scene described by Jesus in Matthew 7:22-21 "Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?' Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!" (Matthew 7:22-23) First they call him LORD!! when he is a Prophet. Second, they say we did these deeds IN YOUR NAME, instead of In the Name of God. Of course the context in the bible is altered, and many would say "No no, Jesus meant this and that it is not about this or that.." Just like when Jesus said "My father is greater than I " they explain this as "they are co equal but he is humbling himself" wow so Jesus is not able to express himself in simple phrase, they need to clarify a mighty prophet words with their words.. when we start interpreting words as we wish, our speech or any text will mean anything to any one. My father is greater than I, is a simple straightforward sentence, how could this be "I am humbly co equal with God"!! So I am almost sure that God, who knows everything, asked Jesus in the Quran "Did you tell them to take me and my mother as deities " To let Jesus worshipers hear the truth from Jesus himself, denying their claim.. Because there are verses in Quran where God explain that in That day many False Gods and Idols will deny their worshipers in front of them.... And Jesus pbuh is one case here.
You may be curious why they asked the prophets to ask Allah to begin the judgment. One day in that day is equal to a thousand years. Of course they don't want to wait that long. But they didn't have the authority to ask Allah to begin the judgment, so they went to the prophets.
