Hiya Lucy. How ya doin bab. Hope your having a great day today misserable in the UK rain sun rain sun rain rain😂.. god bless ya have a wonderful weekend 😊
In Benidorm for the first time. Mainly thanks to your videos encouraging us . Had a great first night on the beach front and heading to the old town today. Definitely putting Romans on our list some time this week. Thanks for the great videos x
Cracking video Lucy, my favourite is the sea food and I'll be trying one where you are today, in October, thank you Lucy hope to see you again in October 🤝
Hi, we live about 5 years in spain, originele from Belgium, we follow your blogs about 1 years now. I make my own paëlla’s . Even vegan one. Mixtado is my most made paëlla. Nice work keep on going!
That looked wonderful. I was impressed to hear you speak Spanish, not that I speak a word of it. By the way, it's been blowing nearly gale force winds here in England, just so you know.
Still make our own Paella, from Spanish recipe we were given when working in Benidorm on RoundTown News, fabulous time. lived in Calpe and Javea. You need to go up in the mountains to experience the best Paella's Conjeco (Rabbit).
Hi Lucy, So glad your doing more videos, it’s through your vids we’re coming back to Beni, at Xmas with our twin granddaughters , back to paella, yes we love it, but I’m not a fishy person so we stick to the Valencia version it’s gorgeous keep up the good work ❤❤
Loved this one Lucy. It was mouthwatering! I love a good Paella. That looked amazing as did the salad and coffee. 😋 Last video had giraffes this one had a crab on the beach. 😂 ??
😂love the crab lucy🦂 i could do a chicken paella but not seafood 1,looked like you enjoyed it tho ,i cant wait 2 be back there in 5 wks i just hope that heat calms down a bit 🔥i bet its a bit 2 much there atm ive read it could get 2 50 degrees🤭🌞
Hi Lucy. I' ll tell you the etymology of señoret paella. Señoret ( or senyoret) in the language of Valencia means « señorito» in Spanish and young gentleman in English. That is because they don' t get their fingers dirty as evething ( prawns, mussels and other seafood ) has been peeled o cut in smaller pieces so that they can easily eat the paella as true señoret. I love all your videos.
Love paella and love your videos iv met you twice know follow all your videos 10 out of 10 p.s. I'd give the macmaster a 7 and geoff carter a 9 but your the one all my friends and family follow you keep up the good work and stay safe 👍
Went into the back streets of Valencia in 2017 looking for an authentic one and found a cafe frequented by locals at lunchtime. Delicious Paella....however, amongst the toppings was baby octopus, which... in the spirit of 'when in Valencia', I did try. I can however confirm, that like a lot of things in life I've tried, it was a one time deal never to be repeated 😂
Hiya Lucy, one thing I've never tried is Paella, I've been to Spain approx 25 times, I've been to Benidorm 5 times, once was for a month, next time I come to Spain, I'll have Paella, my Mam loves seafood, so she'll probably have some of mine, this is Choppy in Whitehaven, Cumberland, England
We had paella in Valencia- at lunchtime obvs. Friends had the squid ink one 🖤… can’t say it looked very appetising. Roman looks really good. We drove to Valencia- past the paddy fields- we wound down the window and the air smelt of cooking basmati rice!
I used to holiday in Spain before I retired and I have lived in Spain for over 20 years and 2 things I haven't done is eat a paella and learned Spanish but tried several courses, I must be the only person that can't speak Spanish but knows how to pronounce the words.
Café bombon. a very sweet small coffee (made with condensed milk) i had mine with ice aswel as i prefer cold coffee in Summer but for most of the year i drink it hot. It's great if you don't have room for dessert but like a little sweet kick after your meal.
Hi Lucy had one in majorca years ago and it was just a dish of greasy rice. Put me off ever buying one again. They look amazing but you have to find somewhere that does a good one i suppose. By the way you're looking a lot more lively after giving up the work.. good on ya girl. Take care and stay safe both. X

I love paella but hubby doesn't and even though I love my food I couldn't eat a paella for 2!!!. Maybe when we stay half board at our hotel next year it might be an option on the buffet. Roman looks like a lovely place
Try the black rice paella dish Lucy. I had it in Tenerife recently and it was delicious. It’s made with squid ink, and your teeth look like you need an emergency dentist appointment, but the taste it fantastic.
Hi Lucy Tam from Bathgate here only ever tried the one with chicken not really in to sea food but they do look the biz maybe need to try a sea food one
Hi Lucy. I have never tried one, but have decided that one day I will have to. Your one here looks AMAZING! Do you know if they adapt the spices to suit different tastes? I literally have to have everything as mild as possible! I love flavours but not spice. Do they put garlic in it? Thanks for the vids as always x
Great to see you doing a different type of vlog Lucy. The Macmaster will be worried!😅 Never had paella, but I love Chinese fried rice dishes. Is there much difference? Look after yourself.👍👍
Hi Lucy to be quite honest I'm looking at Paella being cooked for over 40 years and every time i walk passed i hold my breath and say God Almighty either the smell or sight of it does not appeal to me. It's like a stew but you wouldn't put lamb beef and chicken in the same stew however I'll try and be a bit more open minded. The second dish you showed us looked nice to me. By for now Lucy your Spanish is very good I'm still on Spanish for Dummies. David
That crab was making a swift exit 😂😂😂
Cheer's Lucy.have a nice Day.

No, definitely not fluent, my grammar and tenses are terrible. I can hold my own in a conversation though but my Spanish is very much street Spanish.

I love seafood paella, favourite. Only problem now is I'm a solo traveller & the only cook in multiples of 2!!😢😢
On our recent cruise , on our stop in Valencia we went to a restaurant, watched the cook prepare the paella ( using bomba rice, then feasted.

Lots of places do a single portion of paella when you go into a bar if you see one on the counter under the glass you can order some ...
The hotels I've stayed in usually have paella at lunchtime, served in a huge pan on the buffet so you can have as much or as little as you like.
❤
That drink looked interesting what did you put in it? Was it condensed milk.
yes, café bombon. great if you don't have room for dessert but want something sweet 😋
