I'm my campaign's note taker. One thing I do is review my notes every couple of sessions or so and go through and highlight important names or information to help me spot them when referring back to my notes while in sessions. It helps make the important things stand out from the rest of my notes :)
I am 100% thinking about doing highlighting. I think it would be very helpful! Also solidarity for campaign note takers. Who knows if anyone would remember anything if we didn’t write it down 🤣😂
I’m using the soft cover celestial notebook for one of my D&D campaigns too! My character for that campaign is an eladrin soul-knife rogue. I thought the dark color of the notebook really fit with that character’s aesthetic. Also, I’m so impressed you’re playing multiple characters in your campaigns. I’d have such a hard time keeping them straight, especially playing a full caster class.
Ooooh yes! That sounds like a perfectly matching aesthetic! I do mix up my characters sometimes but making them have distinct interests even if it’s just one thing is helpful to playing many characters at once. 😊 thanks for watching my video
You're a better note taker than I. My notes are so unreliable. They swing between faithful records and a bunch of expletives about whatever is happening to us. 😅
lol don’t even worry about it. The only reason my journal notes are so good is because I listen to the recordings 🤣 in the middle of the game I’m the exact same way, random notes and blank pages 🤣😂
This is fantastic! When I grow up I want to be this awesome a D&D loremaster, especially keeping the chronicles of our adventures.
Yes! You be that lore master!
Ah...the not taker, the DM's greatest ally and mortal enemy.
@@kolerty43 lol taking notes is one of the best parts!
