I was sad that I missed out on the Q4 box - discovered A&O a few weeks ago. I'm a knitter and it would have been perfect for me! Such is life. I'll be subscribing as soon as it opens up again.

I loved the idea of saving artist info from Stickii Club sheets, so I started using one of my AO sub box A6s for that. That morphed into saving the last sticker from every sticker sheet alongside the artist info. It makes finishing off a sticker sheet soooo satisfying

This is such a great video and I have subscribed. I started my A&O sub in September last year. I am in the UK and shipping was $35 (plus $3 extra for shipping protection) which for the boxes I think is pretty reasonable. The first box took 10 days to arrive, the second took 8 days which seems pretty good to me. The real issues with shipping come with ordinary orders - I purchased just three notebooks in the Black Friday sale, they came to $73, shipping was $63 . However, in the UK, Australia and at least two European countries there are stationery outlets which sell A&O products, although not the full range. I think the sub boxes themselves are absolutely worth the money - I was a bit baffled by the round sticker thingies in the December box but I will find a use for them. The only item I have actively disliked was the key/letter opener - it is very difficult to open letters with it and the magnet is entirely useless. Sorry to ramble on 😂

If you want to try writing in that gorgeous book with navy paper, my absolute favorite white and metallic pens are the Uni-Ball singo broad pens the white and metallic pens are gorgeous and last a very long time. I do use lots of the stickers and washi in decorative planning

The knit journal also reminds me of Cross stitch, or embroidery- I’ve decided to use this as a scrapbook for photos of cross stitch pieces and quilting projects. I love the comfort box and the Lovestuck or Lovespell box

I love the key that came with Dark Academia but I only wish the magnet was stronger

I had to come up with a memory peg for embossed and debossed designs are “dug in” and embossed is “embellished” or a raised design. I’ve never seen the flex cover from them either. I just broke out the composition notebook and have been using it as a place for samples of pen swatches, washi tapes, stencils, etc. I love their boxes and started getting them in 2024 - I am also used to military time as hospitals as well. One of my favorite things are the notepads

Thank you for sharing your collection, it was great to see all the items from previous year. I found AO in August 2024 so I haven’t seen any of those before. I really like the June 2024 and September 2023 Vintage library was my favorite

They have the yellow B5 restocked now. I like it but spent enough on 5 others 😅

Im going to try and get a March sub box. March is my birthday. I say try and get because Archer and Olive seems to sell out of everything fast. Id only become aware of the company a few months ago. Considering 2 notebooks cost about 75 there it seems to me the extras in the sub boxes are good value.

Why do you have so many journals if you don't have any time to write?

Tiefossi has really great journals and they're not as expensive as Archer and Olive. I'd give them a shot! People seem to also like Notebook Therapy, I do prefer A&O's designs though. Her journals are expensive, but Leela Journals notebooks are fantastic and so beautiful!

To clean the acrylographs, i've taken tweezers, pulled the nib out, get one of those takeout sauce containers, and just rinse the nib by shaking it. If it's really dry, let it soak overnight or for a few hours. Then let the nib dry before putting it back into the pen :3 Hope it works!

The fact that so much is missing because you USED it is the real testament to the worth of this box! I'm always suspicious when a review of "last year" has everything still unused. I wish they would offer duplicates on their website of certain items, maybe at a 3 month delay; that way, if we loved a washi, we could get more to do an entire notebook or something. Maybe you could use the composition notebook one to write stories from your time as a teacher? As a fellow professor, I'd love to read someone's pedagogical adventures like that!

What a haul! Surprisingly great variety in products and design, feel like it captures something for every kind of journaler.

The biggest trick is to put the stamp down and press toward the center of the stamp

That ink pad is stunning as well! Stamps clean so easily - a baby wipe or damp microfiber cloth or cloth diaper cleans them beautifully - you did great!

I often adhere vinyl stickers with repositional or non-permanent glue dots because I sometimes like to change the stickers out. That black background washi looks beautiful on both the white and the black

Yes, acrylic blocks for photopolymer stamps - the newer Acrylographs are so much better than the first ones. I absolutely love this box.

My reading journal is also a square I feel like you have more layout options. Like you, a lot of my favorite spreads have been the ones I have no set ideas for and I just go all in! Beauty in the chaos! 😊

I have a collection of unused journals, and I constantly buy journals I find online that I think are pretty. honestly, I have no idea what to do with them?

I got the robin notebook, frame wall TN size notebook and both of the notepads they had. I really wanted the oopsie books but they were sold out! The print on those is so adorable. You should have gotten a free tote as well if you ordered early. Lucky you! Great haul!

Thanks to you, I now have two subscriptions to Archer & Olive. I have been hesitant about the monthly stickers but I think it’s a great value and I could definitely use them in my journal.

That blackout book with the rabbit on it would make a good photo album. You could use the photo corners from the Archer & Olive journal kit you got.

those November extra things are sticky photo holders. the corner of a photo or anything else you want, is place is the holder. Back in the day (1960's) we put on all four corners of photo then stick onto your page. you can remove photo s but the sticky holders stay on the page,

The decoration potential!

You’ve inspired me to take the plunge and try to do a similar review journal for media I consume in 2025! I’ve tried some trackers and things in the past but fell off and felt really demotivated. These types of review spreads seem perfect for who I am and how I like to interact with media now, and I’m so excited. Also, I LOVE Cherry Magic!! The anime was so good that I marathoned the Japanese drama adaptation (not as good imo because it went ahead of the source material at the time so it has a different twist/ending but it was still fun) and the manga IMMEDIATELY.

The March set is so cute! I really like the stickers in July's set, too. Thank you for sharing!
