Damn, Biboo kinda put herself at a disadvantage by playing an ultra lightweight melee build and not combining the Wuerger's charge attack with the pulse blade.
@@nonamejustbecause Well they made the joke multiple times throughout the stream that she was "rusty," so I don't think she was that familiar with her loadout, and it shows in her gameplay, especially with how often she'd follow through with melee attacks that definitely weren't going to hit. If she was familiar with her loadout, she would've combined the Wuerger's charge attack with the pulse blade to stagger, then follow up with the Redshift. Damage wise, she absolutely could've beaten Irys, but that doesn't change anything about the fact that AC6's combat system still makes the fragility of lightweight builds a major disadvantage.
@corvus9359 i get the joke but you're also assuming that they have touched the game frequent enough to know certain things, that would be a good criticism to someone who maybe plays the game in a semi regular basis but because they didn't touch the game in a long time aka "rusty" they don't exactly remember what all their loadouts do and set ups exactly Biboo and irys are playing a lot of other games or have other activities and would likely have not touch the game especially in pvp to know details in their loadout, their effectiveness and what the proper set ups were Biboo is the "better player" in this case because from what I've seen on her ac6 vods she's more engaged in the game as compared to irys aka more of a gamer, I can see from the video she's trying to actually do set ups somewhat with her loadout compared to irys who use pure dps to out perform biboo Tldr for a bunch of idols/comedians that haven't touched the game they are doing well
@@nonamejustbecauseOk now I'm confused because you started off by saying "she's familiar with her loadout," and now you're saying what I said, which was "they don't exactly remember what all their loadouts do." So which is it? Also I never said they weren't doing well for a bunch of vtubers who haven't touched the game in a while. I said Bijou's build put her at a disadvantage, especially when she didn't remember how to take full advantage of her weapons.
That's not really it. If you look at Rusty in the narrative, he's a double agent who won't hesitate to kill his own from the Liberation Front and try to kill you as soon as he thinks that your power might spell bad news for the Liberation Front (without even knowing which allegiance you will eventually settle for). He doesn't even try to convince you to join him, he goes for your throat straight away. In fact, Middle Flatwell has to come in and be the one trying to talk him into not killing you, only for Rusty to INSIST that he HAS to, not because of Arquebus, but because he thinks you're too dangerous and can't be trusted. I'll remind you that Flatwell is much less familiar and friendly with you than Rusty is, yet he is the one who trusts you enough to be vouching for you, not your "buddy" Rusty. So yes, while I understand the "Buddy" crowd (for different reasons), I also understand why some people would hate him. Because from Pekora's and Irys' perspective, it's not that he isn't "a loyal servant rather than an equal friend", but that he doesn't even act as a friend. There isn't even trust between you and him, because his cover and his mission are far, far more important than any bond he might have with anyone. Hell, Rusty would probably kill his own parents without any hesitation if it served the Liberation Front's cause, and you probably wouldn't even have to order him to do it.
Both builds are good. Irys' stun guns and Soup missiles had already a good reputation within the AC community. On the other hand, Biboo's mech is also very deadly especially if she only knew how to do the combo of pulse blade + charge weapons.
I will admit, IRyS has some valid points. But, you have to take the characters in the game with their whole context. That is, Rusty's actions are questionable when you compare them to real world people. But, in the world of AC6, he is just a better person than most characters you meet. It's all about context.
Yeah. It felt like IRyS chose to stick to her perception of Rusty because of the Juggernaut incident. And not to be hypocritical, you've betrayed way more people regardless of the story route you've chosen. Outside of contract missions where he's tasked to go against you, he's a great bro. The way he calls you buddy sounds legit, no condescension. He's one of the few pilots who truly have respect for your skills. And also sounded like he's got some history with you (from the conversations, sounded like it leans towards the friendlier side too.)
I know Biboo didn’t have the chance to practice beforehand, but IRyS is pretty amazing. She’s got a competitive edge to her that made her fun to watch! In the end, though, the collab was just a fun, lighthearted time for everyone. I hope they play Lethal Company together soon!
I be honest, of course Rusty gonna duel at you in mod event to prevent you to get Coral from everyone else especialy you. In this Ac series "You are not the only get so desperate in this situation, everyone does get so more desperate than you think." Keep in mind to you Irys.

I have no idea who they're talking about (never watched or played any AC6 or whatever), but for some reason I immediately sided with IRyS. Is that just the contrarian in me?
I have no idea, either, but if everything IRyS said is true (assuming that betrayal is not a standard and constant theme for all of the game's characters) I would agree. Rusty sounds like the kind of person who is very good at being friendly and befriending people but does not actually care about them. Actions speak louder than words or personality.
@@somedudewatchintv5297 Possibly. I think it is likely a personal thing. I may lean more towards agreeing because I am the type of person who is infuriated by the idea of "better to ask forgiveness than permission." The type of person who shouts "just talk to each other," at the screen during miscommunication plotlines in any media. A matter of perspective or simply certain tropes pushing my buttons.
If you don't want spoilers, then don't read the rest of this, but basically, everyone in Armored Core 6 has their own agenda. Most characters either want to seize power or exploit the planet for its natural resources, but Rusty's goal is to protect his planet and his people by eliminating the powers that threaten them. Rusty is one of the few characters who is friendly and professional towards everyone. Your character is basically an outsider who sides with no group, and Rusty is one one of the characters who quickly recognizes that you're a skilled pilot, so throughout the game he's trying to determine whether you're an ally or an enemy. Rusty sees your character as an equal and the game sets you up as friendly rivals at the beginning. However, the circumstances of the game quickly become more complicated as you learn new information, and depending on the path you choose, you either fight alongside him or against him. No matter which path you take, Rusty will always respect you as a warrior.
