I have been looking for this song for so long! I knew it was The Orb but had no idea of the title. But it came on my TO Pandora channel and I finally got the title!
Great tune. Can't stop listening to it. Great video too - see how many times Alex Paterson (The Orb) appears in this video - I count at least 4. Hint: he's the DJ at 3:09.
does anyone know what album this is off, im gathering a collection of the music from my childhood, and i realy need the orb's collection, as they were (and are) one of my all time faves anyway, if anyone can help, much thanks
10 years later. This particular mix is off the album "bicycles and tricycles" specifically the japanese import album. The us and UK editions had a different mix which is still great, but I prefer this one. Hope that helps.
Art..supposed to sound trashy and commercial...sorta japanesey packagey noodle, mass consumer/commercialism. A repetative, plastic and somehow meaningless journey...or as music its only listenable once. brain gets it too easy. I loove the orb though, true music of hyperspace teleportation. compleately safe to listen to when youre tripping. we love IT!
I rarely say anything negative in public somments, especially about The Orb -which I love- but I just can't stand autotune effect. :D I always remove all tracks from my collections where it is used, even if it is part of album or so. It's absolute turn off, my ears bleed and I feel like I need to throw up right away when any track features autotune. Sorry Alex. :P

This version is a lot better!!! Why did they take this out of the US copy??? I heard it was because "it was mixed badly" or something..

I dont know how the Hybrid meadow mix is even a remix its a completely difrent song entirely though i like the hybrid better
In fact both the song and video are pretty damn good if you ask me...
I am very disappointed in the auto tuning however it's a mind blowing tune so all is forgiven, I still felt it all the same :)
