I met this woman in the early 80s. I worked @ Jordan Marsh and she came in to order personalized stationary and thats when I learned who she was. She was so sweet, wonderful and stunning. I stll have her autograph framed in my office.
I loved Gene Tierney in Laura and Leave Her to Heaven. I recently watched Leave Her to Heaven, a Technicolor film noir, for the first time. I was blown away by Tierney's femme fatale portrayal of Ellen, a narcissistic psychopath. She was nominated for an Oscar but lost to Joan Crawford. I read that Martin Scorsese lists this film as one of his favorites along with her outstanding performance. He, too, felt she was underrated. I agree with him. ❤❤
I'm 71 years old so I was very young during Gene Tierney's height of popularity but my dad was just the right age to appreciate her beauty. She was his favorite, hands down!
🤔 Oh really ?. You keep telling yourself that if it makes you feel better. Some of them after beauty and fame left them, still lived happily ever after !!.....😊

Can’t decide which is my favorite, The Ghost and Mrs. Muir, Heaven Can Wait, or Laura!

I feel really sorry for Gene. Beauty, fame and money doesn't bring you happiness. 😢

I think it had a lot to do with her mental health issues.
Neither do being broke and ugly.
She was gorgeous!
0:48 has always been my favourite photo of her. Beautiful.
Terrible what happened to her!💔

Great❤❤❤
Talk about Joan Crawford
To me she was the most beautiful woman in the movies along with Rita Hayworth
Also, Hedy Lamarr and Ava Gardner.
The girl had a lot of problems.
dont compare anyone to marilyn nuff said carry on
Yes
She was pretty but not the most beautiful Hollywood beauty in fact nothing I mean no one can compete with Marylyn Monroe beauty
You need an AI who can pronounce her last name
