This video was very different and really good. It was “natural” and not all edited so it came across so very real and honest , if you know what I mean. I hope you do more of these as that are really nice to watch.
I like all your videos Bob. This kind of video is really enjoyable to watch. Makes me feel like I am with the crew of only for 45 minutes. More of these please.
I'm really appreciating what you're doing these days. Different format... Your top comments are spot on. My goodness, that hydraulic pump you have running with the auto-pilot in the wheelhouse!!! I wouldn't last 5 minutes onboard listening to that without wanting to move it else where. Love what you do. Love your story, you're living your best life! Thanks for sharing! Keep it up!
Bobby, been following your videos for many months now. Cruising has always been an interest of mine. Been a private pilot for 50 plus years. I very much enjoy both the way you describe the lifestyle of cruising to the choice of crew. Have watched some of the flying doodles as well. But the cruising ones are my favourites. If I can’t fulfill my dreams of cruising then I will live it out thru you. I have learned so much about boats from you. Thank you. Gary
Wait, gets that boat out, does a live stream, commands instructions to crew, holds camera, operates boat, says hi to viewers and was a pilot? Rock Star!! Cheers from Canada
I really enjoyed this. It was a different experience. It was like I was there rather than watching your show. I wouldn't mind more of this unprocessed reality from time to time.
Meghan is fitting in really well she clearly knows what you need her to do before you ask her, she’s also great with the camera & giving some dialogue when needed, an all round great member of the crew & easy on these tired old eyes 🇬🇧
Unless you own any boat the "things to check list" is huge even if factory the 7P's (Prior Proper Planning Prevents P... Poor Preformance) so showing a behind the scene view I'm sure is an eye opener for many. The idea of fishing on my boat is my primary drive for keeping a boat and the planning any of my trips always involves fishing, crabbing or bartering for seafood when the opportunity arrives, hey my crew is never as outstanding as your Bobby as thanks again for sharing so waving G'day from the East Coast of Australia.
My wife gets seasick thinking about watching your videos and I enjoy watching someone else dealing with the unique challenges of owning a boat. So best of both worlds. Keep up the good work! 🤘
What a great idea: live leaving the dock. Really enjoyed your command of all needed for a smooth getaway. Meghan and Steph great crew. Really fun to watch.
Love this video !! This is the kind of live that’s fun to watch!! I think you always have great crew that being said Stephanie and Meghan are the best !!! Stephanie is great and makes me laugh loving her!! Meghan is funny and fits in perfectly…. Long long time viewer and I enjoy these more than any
This vlog was fantastic, showed some of the work involved in the operation of the vessel. Great insight into your captain's role and the crew. Everybody very natural. Would love to see more like it. Don't get me wrong love your regular vlogs.
Boating, vlogging, editing, repairs, provisioning, cleaning, managing. So much work. Sailing adds more tasks. Systems more. You have to enjoy the process and the companions. And still it is better doing this on the water than on the hard. Carry on Captain Brimley.
So coolio seeing a more organic look at operating the Dark Side. Less fluff, more systems. We already saw something on the boat that we want to implement on ours. Safe passage!
Greetings from Annapolis , Bobby and crew, I like the play-by-play of all the necessary chores. Chomping at the bit now to get on the water this season.
Loved the no commercials and the length, Got to enjoy my cup of coffee and was relaxed, Kudos crew and Bobby, We follow you on vessel finder as well. Thanks for the great content!!!!!!!
Thanks for posting. Interesting to see the process with a big boat. Hope you have safe travels. Still snow on the ground here in Arnprior near Ottawa Ontario.
Good video on how to get away in an orderly fashion. It's surprising how many stuff it up by shortcuts and impatience. Look forward to you getting back into a sailboat.
Hi bobby and crew, i live ona tropical island in the indian ocean and boating is quite a common activity but it shows that from your pilot experience you have made it a rule to follow your checklist as per what's needed for a safe release from the docks and this is an exemple to follow and it's entertaining, keep it up, it's a nice escape from everydays' routine for us the viewers.
To the girls.......Meg........If the hose has a nozzle on the end.......Squeeze the trigger or open the nozzle to relieve the pressure before you go to remove hose. Then it will come off the the hose bib(where you connect the hose) a lot easier. People turn the hose off at the bib but the never relieve the pressure on the hose. So when you go to remove hose you get sprayed and you think it is on at the bib.
Another great LIVE! episode. The autopilot hydraulic pump should be located closer to the rudders for best operation and noise reduction. Just my opinion from over 25 years in the yacht service and comissioning biz.
Bobbie, we took a commercial catamaran ( jet powered ) from Marco Island to Key West .It took 3 hrs @ 50mph with 150 people on board ! We burned 700 gallons of fuel one way .
Nice morning! You definitely have a good crew there. The mustache reminds me of Keenan Wynn. He was a famous actor in the 60’s. Ed Wynn’s son if you are really old.
Alot goes on to get underway on such a small boat. Unlike when I was in the Navy getting underway took 24 hours. Diesel powered aircraft carrier from WW II had to light the boilers a day before. Day of departure was about 8 hours for lines gangways and then tugged pushed from the dock.

I have followed you forever...this is probably one of your best vlogs ever! Good job, you took us along with you
rather than having us watch you.
Wait, gets that boat out, does a live stream, commands instructions to crew, holds camera, operates boat, says hi to viewers and was a pilot? Rock Star!! Cheers from Canada
Live is very interesting. More moving parts than the normal edited version. Thanks Bobby and crew.

Great video Bobby I like that you showed us what you do to leave the dock and what your crew does so you don't have any problems
Very enjoyable. It opened my eyes to see what is involved in leaving the dock on a boat that size. Thanks again.
Hey Bobby, that's what you get when you have a big boat and all the toys to go with it. Enjoy ! ! !

Great video! Boy there is work running a boat like that! Cheers from the Finger Lakes!
looks like a lot of fun. live video really shows how much work boating can be
Hey man! Enjoyed this one immensely! Thanks!
A good overview of what’s involved in boating.
Reminded me of early morning departures out of Charleston, SC in the early 70’s on MSO 443, an ocean minesweeper. Good times.
That was great Bobby, thanks!
Really liked seeing what it takes to get off the dock - thanks for that peak under the hood!
Love docking! I do it with my 4 family.
Bobby, ditch the stash, You look like you’re 60! Great content like others have stated. Shows what entailed in just getting off the dock.
Aloha Doodles from Northshore ,Oahu ...love the start bobby ~
That was fun Bobby, thanks
Greetings from Cape Coral FL
Bobby's mustache makes him look older than he is. The beard is the best look.
Sorry missed you live but good idea with the live getting off dock bet a lot of people along with me appreciate it
Little behind, but loved this! Just makes you want to just go and do it!!

Very impressive departure, especially with a short handed crew
Work sucks I missed you again. Happy traveling
Alot of work to get off the dock nice work captain
This was great fun and perfect teamwork.
Bobby giving a thumb’s up sign for engine oil pressure just like Kermit Weeks does…pilot’s are a like!
Now I know what the noise I couldn’t work out in a lot of your videos, it’s the hydraulics pump!!!!
Another great LIVE! episode. The autopilot hydraulic pump should be located closer to the rudders for best operation and noise reduction. Just my opinion from over 25 years in the yacht service and comissioning biz.

Great detail Bobby!
All the stress of leaving the dock and still does great with the camera
Very much enjoyed, mid afternoon here in the UK.
The crew is well trained
Love seeing Bobby's Angels
Before leaving it's always good to recap all that was done of disconnecting and putting away, oil level and fuel then check for any leaks.
a crew is so helpful. My Trojan F-26 is single handed. a two year upfit is almost done
