    2021 FSC 5:46 / 2022 FSC 3:58 / Difference 6:41
    [2021 YEAR] 500 / 6 MPG = 83 GAL X 2.988 = $249 W/O FSC. / FSC 500X.31 = $155 - $249 = $94
    [2022 YEAR] 500 / 6 MPG = 83 GAL X 4.964 = $413.67 W/O FSC. / FSC 500X.64 = $320 - $413.67 = $93.67 Customer pays the FCS, is passed to the motor carrier,

Question... How did you come up with the $0.63 thru $0.67 values? Seems as if a piece is missing. Thanks in advance!

If this helps. I tried to look for an answer for a while, and I think here is what I learned. As her number: 4.964/gal is the fuel cost, the national fuel baseline(base price) is $2.5/gal by dept of defense. However, people say we should use $1.2/gal as the price as before 2008 or 2000. Either way, your pick. So, you will have (4.964-1.2)/6= 0.627. Then use the 0.627*whatever the miles. I think these kinds of videos are useless if they do not explain the core, or for people who do not know the industry. I might be wrong about this. Anyways, good luck!
