I rediscovered Gary a few years back. The thing is, we need a Box Set or something, containing all of his work. I want everything he ever recorded. He passed me by the first time but now, I am a hard core Gary Stewart fan. The tremelo in his voice is amazing. He is the real deal.

Yes Indeed ,Gary was akind/humble type.after a concert n keyenta az,we stoped @ a store,we noticed a lincoln town car,pulled besides us.Mygirlfriend said;Guess what? looked over,i seen gary.we end up followed him bk 2 holiday inn.A chauffeur got off,and said ;i'll turn them away? Gary said,i have alot of fans out here,can't be rude. probably they're wanting autograp tobe sign.I just wanted 2touch him,gave him a hug.and told him we love u-ur music.Soo much. for ever&ever!
Watching this video hurts ...this man is pouring his heart out ..and hes messed up ...He is just using the guitar as a prop ..and from what I have heard he was at one time a great player ...on slide ..according to dickey betts ...he is one of my alltime favorites ..and if he is not in the Country Music Hall of Fame soon they should close it !!!!

I've never seen such a sad live performance... this hurts to watch. Was there one particularly big hurt in his life? I used to live in Bandera, TX and there were a number of men like him who, night after night, sadly drank their lives away.

@moondancerrecords What would be the possibility of having a record label release these live recordings or perhaps other live recordings that were made? I know of several labels who might be interested. This live recording has incredible sound and deserves to be released officially.

One question- do you have any audio or video of him playing at La Zona Rosa in Austin, TX at South By Southwest? I have a scratchy sounding cassette of his set, but I've been trying for many years to find a better recording. Got any leads for me?

I always log in every other day, to just hear Gary's voice. Can't get enough. (Can you guy's post more video's?) Like ; Are we dreamin the same dream?
