This is my absolute favorite piece by Chopin and the way she began this piece is as beautiful as how she played throughout. It's a shame Anna Federova is not more well known, she's just fantastic! (:
There's a reason why. Her playing is too middle of the road. Her cautiousness is taking away all the thrill. Take Horowitz for example, he didn't give a hoot about wrong notes, exciting the audience was above all else for him.
If someone or anyone is able to explain me, why i love Anna Fedorova so heartly , i will be thankful...
There is no better Chopin interpreter alive today. This exquisitely beautiful young woman is IT. I have been listening to everything of hers I could find for the past two days with increasing enthusiasm, and after nearly seventy years of intensive study and piano performance with some of the greatest teachers of my generation, myself, I feel qualified to make such a sweeping, unequivocal pronouncement. Anna Fedorova plays with a warmth, vitality, and deep understandning of the essential spirit and character of each piece she performs virtually UNIMAGINED by her competition.
Man7889 I love the performance but like you have a reservation abouy the piano sound which I feel is too close up.Would have liked a little more hall ambience.Piano is ok but would have liked to hear it on a Bosendorfer.
I wonder why it was written for such a high tempo...I'm learning this song right now and I much prefer it at almost half this speed. Brilliant performance though!
Chopin to najpiękniejsza spuścizna dla ludzkości ❤️

Wow!! Beautiful stage, beautiful playing, beautiful piece!
I like her left hand play. It is very supportive of the right hand and it sets the harmonic tone right. She should record all of Chopin's waltzes.
Bella e giòcherellòna al pianò! Felicissimò dell'ascòltò! Grazie!
Oh, I LOVE this sound!!!! with the grand piano of Shigeru Kawai. Supreme. I wish I could have listened to it there actually.
A very exuberant Chopin had fun with this brilliant firecracker! Anna Fedorova lights the fuse and off it goes!!
fantastic player
wonderfull video of Anna

What amazing language are you gracing the Comments with, I must ask?
this is the most perfect waltz!!
I want to be able to play this song again...so magnificent!
It isn't a "song."

You have to study another 70 years. This version is completely devoid of virtuosity, it is boring.
@@luargambino Ms Fedorova boring? Never!! But, dear me, such a depressing comment about a young lady just starting out on her career.
Very good
넘좋아요
Guys, if you don't mind, I will marry this woman. She's amazing.

Go play it on your Wurlitzer...
Best waltz Chopin wrote
Giòcherellòna is sòmebòdy whò likes very very much tò play pianò!
Too much speed too early...so nowhere to go at the end. Otherwise, quite beautifully done.
Then take less speed and it won't sound so fast...
I wonder why it was written for such a high tempo...I'm learning this song right now and I much prefer it at almost half this speed. Brilliant performance though!
Because that's how it should be played. No one wants to hear someone plunk this out at half tempo...
Well actually, I would. As I said above. "Because that's how it should be", ahh, of course. Logic!
You weren't home the day that Chopin called to ask your opinion on how fast it should go. It's called "interpretation." Look it up.
Am I the only one not a fan of the sound of the piano?
yes
Something different to Steinway and refreshing.
How many of you do people pay to see? Yep, just sit back and nitpick.
Too fast! The original tempo is slower.
god I wish my face was that piano bench oh yea fukk yeah
Always a miscreant around to say something stupid... Go listen to Led Zeppelin
