I love these types of videos! History and ASMR together are the most relaxing and calming for me. I would love to see separate videos on the novels especially Northanger Abbey.
@@SoundsCurious I am an English literature student. It's helping me a lot. Thank you😊. Hey can you do a video on Aphra behn dear? or any other authors from the preromantic/romantic periods, or any other authors and their works on your preference please😊
@@aashiqsofficial I'm a fan of Aphra Behn, so I will add her to my list! However, I should warn you, it can take me months to get a video ready, so by the time it's out, you may no longer be studying her! Meanwhile, you might enjoy the video I've made on the History of Gothic - it's a wide-ranging talk on all aspects of gothic culture, so there isn't a lot of specific literary reference, but I do briefly dip into the influence of gothic on the Romantics, and mention Mary Shelley, Byron and Horace Walpole.
You're welcome - and thank you for your support! I'm hoping to make a video tour about Jane Austen's cottage (which is a rather marvellous museum) in the new year...and aiming for talks on some of her individual novels later on in 2020 🙂
This site is the best discovery I will make all year! ❤ I've just listened to my first talk regarding Jane Austen, and already I am wanting more... I feel myself fast becoming your Number One Fan (and I'm grateful) ☺
You're most welcome! If you enjoy Jane Austen-era culture, then you might also enjoy the videos I've just posted this week, on The Wallace Collection. The first one is here: th-cam.com/video/PWY1ym1bg9s/w-d-xo.html
I had to read Pride and Prejudice in high school. It was the first book that I read in school that I actually liked and wanted to read again. She's my favorite author. I'd love to hear you talk about her individual books.
Wonderful! I can’t wait for the individual novels! 🌹🙏🏼🌹
I've done 'Emma' already - the rest will follow, as and when! 😄 th-cam.com/video/F348DZ3kARQ/w-d-xo.html
This was wonderful and so interesting, thanks for making it !
You're welcome - I'm glad you enjoyed it!
