This soft spoken history/culture ASMR podcast takes us on an exploration of beautiful old libraries. Together, we'll discover a little bit about the history of libraries (especially in Western Europe) - and then we'll also take a closer look at a selection of gorgeous old libraries you can visit for yourself. It's bibliophile heaven!

Disappointed by the fact that you completely neglected the libraries of Nalanda, Takshashila, the ancient universities of India, and the Buddhist monasteries which holds ancient scrolls of Eastern wisdom. The Islamic libraries and scholars you mentioned where mostly built as a result of conquests and looting by islamist rulers in India who undertook the tasks of translating a whole lot if Indic texts varied from astrophysics, advanced mathematics, philosophy to arts and healthcare. Please do your research through before you present to ensure avoidance of gaps. As always apprecite your efforts.😊
