Thanks! Helpful. I’ve seen on many reviews that if there are issues it just means an adjustment or cleaning is needed and that the manual can be found online.

We just bought this machine & was told to change the filters often. I cannot find replacement filters. I think you're just supposed to take out & clean. Have you had to clean or replace yours?

i took the filter it came with off and put an inline filter from walmart that fits a garden hose and faucet head since thats my source of water for it its easier and cheaper too

ive been using it since last august and as long as you clean out the system every so often it works great if you have a high need for ice it might not keep up but if its medium need then it works well for a restraunt i would put ice in bags and put them in the freezer so you have enough but for my mom and i its great it always has ice and works well just have to clean out the water system about once a month

Does it keep ice frozen in its storage bin?

the ice will melt in the storage bin hence the drain hose however it seems to keep the ice perfectly fine for a few hours it will melt a few gallons of water a day if outside like mine is during the summer but i have mine drain into a pan for our cats and chickens to use as a waterer so it works out for us what you can do is every evening or morning bag the ice and put in a freezer until needed

stick your finger in the black water trough is there water there? if no make sure your water is on and the machine is pluged in if everything looks ok there turn the machine off then back on and press the second button down then when the green light turns on wait a min for the water to flow over the ice tray. if no water flows then it might be a pump issue. if water is flowing but the ice isnt building up and its not getting cold enough try pushing the arrow button up until it hits between 13 and 15 it may vary for you then wait about 20 mins for an ice drop. if no ice is formed it could be a faulty machine or faulty cooling component. if the ice maker is new try these steps if its been running for a bit but stopped drain the whole thing out and put the plug lid back after draining put about a cup of vinegar in the water tray and wait about an hour then run wash cycle a couple times if need be take the matel plate next to the ice trat off and a matel bracket then pull the pump out and hit the inlet with a water hose then run it with vinegar for a bit until it runs good do the vinegar trick every couple months or so depending on how hard your water is oh and after the vinegar rinse the whole inside of the ice box out with fresh water
