What a wonderful sight to see! The fact that it seems more private adds to the beauty.

I was just in Sitka too! Did some early morning kayaking and it was amazing. The tide was much lower than normal, and we were able to see tons of sea stars and sea urchins up close! Our group was even followed by a curious little harbor seal who kept sticking his head of the water to watch what we were doing. Glad you guys had fun whale watching!

Thank you for sharing your adventures with us. Your narration makes me cry and grin with cuteness. and omg yessss it totally looks like Jurassic Park! Love that reference! you two are so sweet and precious and I adore you both, I've been following you on insta for awhile but I hadn't seen your vlogs yet. I love your enjoyment and respect for nature. Also you did SO well with filming on the shifting waters, and your editing is stunning. WELL DONE!!!!! I am still struggling with shaky cameras and I've been vlogging since 2005 LOL. But I haven't really improved much on my floppy shots XD you two are an inspiration. It's AMAZING that you got to see the whales. That shot of the whale tail through the cabin window??? And the one in front of the blue snow-capped mountains? INCREDIBLE WORK!! the cinematography is top notch, plus the music choice with the piano felt so magical. Anyway, I am so blessed to be able to see your videos, thank you again for choosing to share your life with us in this way.

Mya, thank you very much for the very generous comment. All the credit for the stabilized video goes to our handy-dandy gimbal. So glad you joined us on TH-cam, as well as IG. We really appreciate the support and encouragement. We wish you the best as you continue with your vlogging journey. We think the key is to love what you do and all the rest will follow!

I went whale watching in California where I live....didn't see any whales, but we did run across a huge pod of dolphins that jumped around our boat for a long time. They were so close you could have reached out and touched them. Like you said, it was something I'll never forget. Glad you had such a magical time.
