As a former dancesport athlete, i want to say that this is amazing! The show she did is NOT EASY and it’s reeaaaaally tiring to do. Congratulations to her, this is the kind of show that you would expect to see performed by athletes with at least 7-8 years of experience.
She was actually a professional ballroom dancer for I believe 9 years and once ranked 6th globally

holy shit I’ve noticed that Chinese idols really slay this event, they’re just on a completely different level. They’re truly here to do a SPORT, and I think that’s part of what sets them apart from everyone else: their professionalism. Cheng xiao, yuqi, and now xiao ting, setting fucking standards bruh
China has amazing dance and sport schools. They really are talented at producing talented individuals.

It's been about a year, but I still watch this performance every day. It's the best Xiaoting fancam, I don't have to worry about her being hidden at the back, I can see all her moves clearly. I love that from beginning to end, basically every part of the dance is a killing part. Usually this can be a problem if it's too action packed, but this choreo still shows nice progression starting with the more calm and elegant rumba moves building up to the more fast paced and exciting cha-cha.

Can't count how many times I have watched this performance from the so many fancams available online (youtube, twitter) but once I saw this, I just knew I have to watch it again. Simply, phenomenal. There's something very satisfying watching experts (Xiaoting and her male partner) craft perfection.

( I do hope she'll take sakura's career path in the future tho, as in being scouted by a big company and redebut with promising group members)
As amazing as she was, it was kinda of expected that she would win first place. She had a professional a background in ballroom dancing. They suddenly added this category knowing theres an idol who had such background.
the judges were informed of this and judged her with raised standards.

She had a single week to practice this choreography and she did Viennese ballroom dancing which is different than Latin dancing. Her background in ballroom dancing shows but it's not like she also didn't have to work hard and be judged on a higher standard too and STILL won.

1:37 This looks so effortless for a pro, but I've seen a few amateurs try it and it's really difficult to make it look so smooth
I think the trick is the head turn. If you do it to early or too slow, it will remove tension and make the move amateurish
선수 출신이라는데 작은 대회랄지, 예능이랄지 그렇게 큰 무대가 아닌데도 노력한 에너지와 진심&열정이 느껴짐... 진짜 너무 멋지다ㅠㅠㅠ

동작에서 손끝 발끝까지 얼마나 열심히 간절하게 연습했는 지가 느껴진다. 어찌보면 이벤트 같은 무대라 성의껏해도 되는데 이렇게 까지 완벽한 무대 보여줘서 감동..션사오팅 케플러 이런 간절함이면 어딜내놔도 성공할듯.

Xiaoting is simply next level. Her style, her dance, her muscle! All in all she is the queen. She even tied up all hair and made her skin tone darker because that's what professionals would do, she is honoring her identity as an ex professional sports dancer.
And OH MY GOD, her muscle!!! It's so powerful and sexy at the same time.
I cant have a proper conversation now with who hasn't watched this, I just have too much of this amazing performance in my mind.
She was very professional because this is what she did before becoming an idol 😉

샤오팅이 예능이나 라디오에서 댄스스포츠 동작들 조금씩 보여주긴 했었지만 이렇게 정식으로 보여준건 처음인데 다른 아이돌들도 잘했지만 진짜 선출은 다르구나 느낌... 그리고 케플러 멤버들 다 춤 잘 추지만 음악방송 무대 직캠 보면 샤오팅이 춤을 잘 추는 것도 있지만 댄스스포츠를 해서 그런지 샤오팅만의 느낌이 있음

와~ 샤오팅 전문 분야가 댄스 스포츠인 건 알고 있었지만 실제로 보니 감탄밖에 안나왔음! 보면서 황홀했음!
기술,연기,연출,헤메코 등 다 완벽하지만 무엇보다 다르다고 느껴지는건 댄스스포츠 무대에 많이 서본 사람이라는게 확 느껴진다 다른 참가자분들도 잘했지만 동작을 하느라 여유가 없다면 이분은 수많은 연습 그리고 무대의 경험과 “나 잘해”라는 눈에 보일정도로 넘쳐 흐르는 자신감을 통해 무대 그자체를 장악한다 여기서 카리스마가 나오고 대중을 압도한다 와 역시 종사자 출신은 다르네 진짜 잘한다

Ok as both an Audrey Hepburn fan and Keplian, let me just say that not only this pair danced the best but also, Xiaoting’s concept was the best. She and her partner did an excellent job of portraying Holly Golightly and Paul’s relationship through their dance, choice of gestures and also some well thought-off music. Also the clothes, the jewelry, the hat, THE ELEGANCE AND THE ATTITUDE, was nailed down to a T.
If you watch Breakfast at Tiffanys, you will appreciate this masterpiece better and you will be amazed at how they pulled this off and turned into a three-minute performance. The win is so well-deserved 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
