i was the person who submitted the connecticut bigfoot story. excuse the fact that it was poorly written considering i was 13 when i submitted this but to add on to that story, the second yell was almost like a growl and when the creature peered from under the bridge, it’s eyes were so piercingly vibrant and when those eyes looked straight into mine, i felt pure fear pour into my soul. to this day i truly believe what i saw was a bigfoot. even if it wasn’t, what i saw was definitely not a bear and it definitely wasn’t human. before this sighting, a friend who lived nearby said he saw bigfoot over the weekend, later in around march of that year, as i was walking to the bus stop i noticed massive footprints imprinted into the mud. the footprints were so clearly visible that i tried to recreate them but with all my force i couldn’t even come close to the level of visibility of the other footprint. the footprints were about what i’d guess to be an 18 in men’s if i’d ever seen one. even when the mud faded away you could still see clearly in the grass the pressure of whatever was walking in that path. i almost had a sort of ptsd for years after this happened, the sunoco gas station across from the bus stop had a mini bigfoot statue peering over a tree which triggered a full on panic attack everytime i’d see it. although we’ve never talked about it ever again, me and my friends know deep down what we saw. i’ve since moved to texas and when i came back to visit, i brought up the bigfoot sighting. of course we laughed it off as we were imagining it all but you could hear the unsettling nervousness when we talked about it. as of now some locals know that neighborhood as a bigfoot hotspot, apparently more sightings have occurred since then but i can’t be the one to tell if they’re true or not. if you want to know anything about the incident please let me know and i will happily answer. thank you for listening to my story.

Anyway, my daughter likes to run; and I get nervous for her, but she says she's cautious. But now, after listening to your story, I never thought I'd be nervous for her in a possible bigfoot sighting...yikes!!! You did a good job in writing this story. I'm sorry that it happened to you. I can't imagine waking up to hearing and seeing that thing!!! I don't know how you got out of there seeing that it was so close!!! Did you go back the next day to get your tent and belongings? Thank goodness you had the keys to your car ready/handy!!!! I hope I never encounter a bigfoot.
I've spent many winters in the bush in northern Canada working and living among the Cree... they've shared stories from their elders and ancestors with me about the bush men..I myself, have never seen one, but have heard things that dont belong to any "normal" animal that you'd encounter in the bush... I have a pretty good idea what those sounds were...
Ohio Grassman roams woods near my family in southeastern Ohio. I've never seen it personally, but I've heard some weird things in the forest surrounding their home. I'm not saying its the Grassman, but 100 deer couldn't make the noises I've heard out there.
It's grassman. Don't worry man I've been screamed at by one for a while 5 minutes. Grew up on a farm with the Amish deep in the woods played and grew a alongside their children playing in the woods and the nearby fields of our father's and grandfathers. They always acted weird about certain places and certain topics and things. But you bring up the ohio version of Bigfoot GRASSMAN and they all turn white. Goes to show we weren't just growing up a alongside other human beings but a WHOLE family of HUGE cryptids. They were never violent. They liked to play pranks if that's a good word.. slapping windows and shouting to get your attention while your in the house.

I have to wonder just how inexperienced with the outdoors someone must be to believe the woods falling completely silent like that is no big deal and just write it off as common. I'm about as outdoorsy as a pampered pooch in Beverly Hills and know that the various critters in the woods only fall silent when a predator has come into the area! I am quite convinced that there will come a day when the people who mocked the idea of bigfoot will be proven wrong. There are so many creatures still to be found in the vast expanses of unoccupied lands on this planet not to mention in the even less explored waters. I just hope I live to see the day that mainstream scientists are the ones being mocked!
Agree with you, I totally believe in Bigfoot and would love science to finally find one. There are so many creatures that we are yet to discover and we do discover them but sadly it is slowly as scientists need so much proof of existence. Let's keep our fingers crossed that they have all they need to accept BF is real very soon x

SSSOOOOO..... I go camping every year around the Northern Oregon! Last year while I was having a serious bout of insomnia I clicked the flash light off after reading my book I saw an outline of... SOMETHING. It looked like my dad (he is up normally and walking around he gets cramps in this legs) BUT the outline looked ODD. The legs were a bit longer and the arms reached almost down to its knees. It looked hairy and the crickets and animals were QUITE... the next day I asked my dad if he was out and walking around last night? his answer? NOPE.. we were there for 2 more nights and every night I could swear I heard walking around both of our tents.
I once was hunting with my dad and 15 minutes after being in his tree stand we heard a tree knock.I joked about it being a Bigfoot. Then 5 minutes later 2 more tree knocks happened. I got scared but my dad picked up his rifle. I was 10 at the time so I picked up my BB gun. We heard a very long roar. I hid under my dad's bench that he was sitting on.I thought i was being foolish until my dad told me to stand up.When I did i was pale.I was staring at a face.All i saw was a face because of the dark colored woods plus it was evening.It quickly disappeared and I begged my dad to leave but he refused.He wanted to get a deer. Behind us a rock flew into the tree stand causing us to leave.The golf cart we use to go and leave from the tree stand is loud but i could make out footsteps behind us.We went back the next day.I was clinging on to my dad.We saw footprints were I heard them and where we saw the face.We didn't get them we ran to the golf cart before we left the area a roar was heard and that is when we really left scared for our lives.I never went back again until 3 months later where we saw a dead deer. We knew it wasn't shot and left.Now every time I go there I bring a double barrel shotgun, pistol, and a knife.
In the 6th account I kinda laughed when I heard South Jersey, because all that's there is deer and the Jersey Devil. Ive been out in the pinebarrens often and messed around, howling with the coyotes, but that's all I've ever heard in there. But there was an episode of Finding Bigfoot in Southern NJ so there must be more encounters that just this story about bigfoot(bigfeet?) in Southern NJ.

We live on a mountain surrounded by dense forest,There has been approx 10 sightings here and during the summer we heard a loud screaming howl coming from the top of the mountain during the night . At times sitting on the back deck while relaxing during the evening I notice foul smells but figured it was from the septic we have a large apple tree on the back lot and noticed quite a few tree limbs had snapped and fallen to the ground. Which is odd because they are still young trees. This summer I'll be trying a few things to see if there is anything out there. I plan on recording it. In the mean time we have been researching this phenomena. because it is a big mystery here. We get bears,cougars, coyotes and wolves and deer but they don't make strange sounds or [pull branches off trees. and a smell you never forget. I am hoping there is nothing here and that it moved on. I don't feel that it warranted the response it did. :) The problem with being so defensive to critique is that you actually miss opportunities for expansion. The most successful TH-cam channels aren't making their money from their ads anymore, there are much more lucrative avenues than there were when you first started your channel. This may be interesting for you to look into. As the owner of a brick and mortar business myself, you're going to need thicker skin and a more open mind when it comes to handling critique. You've got a long way to go, and once you learn to use this to your advantage, it will help you in your goals immensely. :)

I'm not saying that you've changed it just that tied are more than it used to. and I've actually been thinking about leaving because of that reason, but I like your voice so I stay for a while longer.

Ya know what is odd ? I was born and raised in Washington State ( Union Gap, by the way ...) and I have not seen a Bigfoot. And that was where it originated. Have you thought of doing a haunted bridge segment ? Or haunted highway ones ? Keep up the great work ! Thank you !

It's understandable that the ads are necessary but they're still annoying, seeing how they tend to pop up as soon as the stories are really getting good.
Darkness Prevails I see why you use ads, but still it's more than it was when I started viewing so something must have changed. I'm not saying that you've changed it just that tied are more than it used to. and I've actually been thinking about leaving because of that reason, but I like your voice so I stay for a while longer.

Ya know what is odd ? I was born and raised in Washington State ( Union Gap, by the way ...) and I have not seen a Bigfoot. And that was where it originated.
