IKR... even in a big city like Chicago this is quite eerie. Murder capital of the country isn’t that dangerous as long as u’re not in certain areas but apparently there’s been like 50 Mothman sightings in the last year now that’s utterly frightening!!!

I was with a group of my family ( mom, aunt, older sis & her BF). My aunt tried to scare us about the Axe man & told us his story as she guided my mom to what was to be his house. It of course was surrounded by woods. Not half way up the driveway, on the right side dozens of flashlights bounced around as they ran towards us!!! My mom turned into a stunt man driver & got us the F* out of there. But a car chased us for miles & miles. It was no Ax man that came after us.... Its was people that wanted to harm us.

I did see the most f* up rounded nest like thing high in the trees. Ive hiked, hunted & looked for mushrooms in the county. Ive NEVER seen something like it. It was a BIG ball of branches & vines made into a hollow circle. Its a woods that is about 100 acres not used.

There is so much about the spiritual world that we don't know but I think they defenitly are material and have to be very strong and powerful entities to be able to do that which makes them sooo much more scary!!!! But like all demons, spirits, etc. I don't believe they are allowed to do whatever they want to us. That's why a lot of these stories they don't get killed and they must not be allowed to come in to our homes unless their invited?? Just a theory....
Well monsters might fall under this category but IMO Wendigo’s, Rakes, & Skin walkers ... & of course National Parks that have all 3 & probably many many more... Are by far the most frightening things of all ... but I also grew up in 2 haunted houses & have seen my fair share of shadow people which are scary but not necessarily menacing & always seem to disappear once you flip a light on...

As far as that first story you seemed to have bought all of that on yourself. The creature was just hunting and you just had to shoot at it. But then again the story did take place in, Michigan.
I completely understand when people don't mention their names or personal information such as address or exact location but not to mention at least the state or general area of a park is not good because basically they are not preventing anyone else from getting hurt,,,personally I would say the location to have people avoid it at all cost because I don't want anyone else to get hurt. I don't know tho just my opinion

The creature in the third story seems like it saw two idiot teens four-wheeling too late at night and decided to scare them back home. Then when one passed out, tried to keep blood flowing to his head until the other one came back for him. More and more these things sound like creepy forest rangers. I'm from SD. And I've seen a few things that I can't explain. A 9ft tall white Bigfoot in 1978? On the Pine Ridge reservation, potato creek SD. I've seen a tumble weed get up and walk away, Allen SD 2017.
Hmmmm. Perhaps the lake monster was an illegally released invasive species? I honestly couldn't guess at what, having zero knowledge of large, sharp-toothed fish, and from that list guess what could potentially survive in that particular environment. I just know people illegally release pets pretty often without a second thought. Hopefully things won't get so bad as to make the lake unsafe.
I won't give a thumbs down, but I had to quit the first story about 2 min. into it. It just is too "crafted"...no regular person who volunteers to tell of their cryptid experience goes off into a flowery-wordy flow of vocabulary. I figured all the other stories are pro-written as well, so I bailed.
I’m from Michigan and when I was young (about maybe 7 ).I woke up in the middle of the night with a creature with skin pale as snow, red on its mouth ,white eyes with small dotted jet Black pupils and it ragged black hair outside looking through my window it was human like... well that’s all I remember I only saw it’s face. Indiana here. My mom told me a story from when she was a teenager. One night she had snuck out the house to meet a boy near white river. She said that she had waited for close to an hour when she started to get a picky feeling on the back of her neck (that feeling you get when you know something is behind you). When she turned around and seen two giant, red, glowing orbs. She took off running; when she looked behind her, she said that she seen a giant owl shapped thing in the night sky, chasing her. Obviously she got away. She says it's called "Glassy Eyes". I can't find any mention of it anywhere. I would like to read up on it if anyone has any information.
I know your just narrating the stories but I wanted to say about story #2 , when the wolf thing was licking his face, i dont think it was savoring him I think it was licking a wound like a dog does to help. if it was hungry, or wanted to hurt him it would have done it. IF thats what really happened.
Sorry but story 1 is BS. Too fantastic, and you wouldn't survive something like that, itd have been more believable if it was told from a family members point of view where the dude went missing at the end.

The first one sounds like a wendigo. It didn't kill him because it didn't want the attention. It must have been someone who only had one arm before becoming a wendigo otherwise it would be able to regenerate it.

No matter what happens out side never leave the safety of your home or cabin or car unless it's on fire all it has to do is grab you nothing between you and it so people no matter what you see or hear stay indoors if it comes for you don't make it easier for it or them run sernareals find places you can see all windows and doors or most find safe areas to hide you or your family put bells on you windows or alarms sorry for so much to read but safety is the most important thing not running people or things down or fighting thefts if they stay outside you stay inside losing a atv or car is nothing like losing your loved ones or your own life

First story - "I positioned my rifle to take down the beast" - Not how a hunter talks, or thinks. Ruins the whole atmosphere of the story...

Next day the same happens but this time he walks in on his mom

That night the kid is having nightmares and asks the parents if he can sleep with them. The parents agree
Later when the son is asleep. He Dad whispers to the mom "Hey hun, do you want my Ferrari in your garage?"
The son pops his head out of the blanket and says "SORRY DAD, MY MINI IS ALREADY IN THERE!"

Then when one passed out, tried to keep blood flowing to his head until the other one came back for him. More and more these things sound like creepy forest rangers. I wonder if they avoid the stairs...

Hmmmm. Perhaps the lake monster was an illegally released invasive species? I honestly couldn't guess at what, having zero knowledge of large, sharp-toothed fish, and from that list guess what could potentially survive in that particular environment. I just know people illegally release pets pretty often without a second thought. Hopefully things won't get so bad as to make the lake unsafe.
I won't give a thumbs down, but I had to quit the first story about 2 min. into it. It just is too "crafted"...no regular person who volunteers to tell of their cryptid experience goes off into a flowery-wordy flow of vocabulary. I figured all the other stories are pro-written as well, so I bailed.
I’m from Michigan and when I was young (about maybe 7 ).I woke up in the middle of the night with a creature with skin pale as snow, red on its mouth ,white eyes with small dotted jet Black pupils and it ragged black hair outside looking through my window it was human like... well that’s all I remember I only saw it’s face. It still scares me... I came here to see if it was on this list... and if it had a name

Whats up darkeness prevail. I lived in the most rural town in Southwest Kansas. I travel a lot but I'm yet waiting to see something at night since I'm always traveling from city to city and I do drive in some pretty isolated highways sometimes at night!! Well till then....
Indiana here. My mom told me a story from when she was a teenager. One night she had snuck out the house to meet a boy near white river. She said that she had waited for close to an hour when she started to get a picky feeling on the back of her neck (that feeling you get when you know something is behind you). When she turned around and seen two giant, red, glowing orbs. She took off running; when she looked behind her, she said that she seen a giant owl shapped thing in the night sky, chasing her. Obviously she got away.
She says it's called "Glassy Eyes". I can't find any mention of it anywhere. I would like to read up on it if anyone has any information.

I think it was licking a wound like a dog does to help. if it was hungry, or wanted to hurt him it would have done it. IF thats what really happened.
Sorry but story 1 is BS. Too fantastic, and you wouldn't survive something like that, itd have been more believable if it was told from a family members point of view where the dude went missing at the end.

The first one sounds like a wendigo. It didn't kill him because it didn't want the attention. It must have been someone who only had one arm before becoming a wendigo otherwise it would be able to regenerate it.

No matter what happens out side never leave the safety of your home or cabin or car unless it's on fire all it has to do is grab you nothing between you and it so people no matter what you see or hear stay indoors if it comes for you don't make it easier for it or them run sernareals find places you can see all windows and doors or most find safe areas to hide you or your family put bells on you windows or alarms sorry for so much to read but safety is the most important thing not running people or things down or fighting thefts if they stay outside you stay inside losing a atv or car is nothing like losing your loved ones or your own life
