    Got this printer in 2018 still has a good amount of ink, and I love it.

    Does the ink dry up if not used quick enough?

    How does this compare to the Canon TS6320? Heard that Brother has poor print quality? Love the features though!

    Is the app helpful and easy to use? We currently have an HP Office Jet 5258 and the app SUCKS! Even after set up, the app is very temperamental and we find that we have to find work arounds just to print. We are looking for a printer that is easy to use. We are open to this printer or any other suggestions you might have--thank you in advance and great video!

    Kevin...I enjoyed your review...I'm almost ready to pull the trigger on this brother printer, Q though... in the past I've found that I like having a lid to open and drop a photo on the scanner glass top... do you know if brother offers a version of inkvestment tank with this option or is there another printer you'd recommend?

    I'm sorry, but this is just a commercial for this printer, not a review or anything. I somewhat doubt that you were even able/allowed to mention your full experience (positives and negatives) with this printer.
    I don't have this one, but I have had a slightly older model with almost the same featureset. In general it works fine, but the estimated amount of pages indication is about just as good as the "time remaining" from a Windows file copy. Print 10 full A4 photo's and the remaining pages goes down the drain. Nothing weird, just don't expect too much.
    And in general my Brother inkjet printed fine, it was really easy to sit on the couch and print a document wirelessly from my iPad or Android phone. But when you try to print full color pages (photo's or something) these printers become slow as hell. Printing in all black text pages it might get 20 or so pages per minute, a full color page will probably take 1 or 2 minutes per page.
    And you mention the 1 cent per page as a plus. Except for people who only want to spend as little as possible and people who only print 10 pages a year or so, I don't get why people still buy inkjet printers. I gave my Brother inkjet to a familymember who indeed only prints a few simple document pages each month/year. I then bought a color laserprinter (also from Brother) as a replacement. I initially bought the inkjet because I still thought that color laserprinters were still much more expensive, but they aren't. I paid less then 250 dollars (converted from euro's) for a Brother color laserprinter. Only feature it has less then the inkjet is a scanner, but I already owned an older scanner which I frankly haven't used in years. I can get replica toner cartridges (they are just as good as the originals) for 20 dollars each and they print pages for the color cartridges and over 8500 for black. That is 0.2 to 0.3 cents per page, so 70 to 80% less expensive then inkt.
    And the best thing: laserprinters are fast, always. Mine prints 30 pages per minute in text, but full color A4 photo's it can also do 20 a minute. And yes, it does matter. Not if you print 1 picture and that's it. But if you're trying out some logo's or what not, printing an example, adjusting something, printing again over and over, it makes a hell of a difference if it takes 2 minutes or less then 5 seconds each time.

    I've been looking everywhere for this printer! Is there a newer version now? Can you recommend please. Thank you!

    • @Zuon94
      @Zuon94 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      There are newer versions, but according to reviews I've seen, all successors have worse color print quality than this older model. If you're a photographer or artist, this could be a deal breaker for you.

      @@Zuon94 hi.
      Me too I have looking for this alot but not found anywhere. I found used one in canada. They say it's not used that much but i don't if i should buy it or not we agreed on 63$. Do you think that price is good?
      Can you recommend any newer version of this or epson et 2760 which that one also is out of stock everywhere.
      Thanks in advance.

      @@MohammedAbbasPLUS Considering I ordered mine open box for well over $300 in this market shortage, don't pass on the $63. Just verify it works first if it's used, assuming the ink's included.
