  • Pulling their move again, which is to build another signature township in a new location. Ecoworld is doing it again in Semenyih adjacent to their previous attachment Setia Ecohill. However, when driving from the town into their development, you'll notice the landscape and roads are just one level above the rest.
    What's surprising to me would be the commitment to innovation the team have. How can you possibly innovate a link house design further? Apparently I was wrong...
    With a slight twist in the layout, the quality of space for the living immediately elevated as there's no longer car parked in front. Plus the masterbedroom size just doubled when they switched the location of bathroom. From facade to toilet tiling design, all are connected to their design concept which looks simply awesome.
    The only setback would be the relevance of their asking price in a remote location, however that really depends on personal preference. If you're really working nearby, this would definitely be an alternative to be considered=)

    Eco world should use this concept to make a apartment enclave, rows of 10 storey apartment lined along gardens layout. Priced it mid range maybe about 300-400k for a spacious unit. Surely people would buy. Not everyone like to stay terrace house, I like the windy feel and view of being in a high rise but like the layout of EcoWorld style garden.

    • @iherng
      @iherng  5 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      That would be ideal of course. But from the developer point of view, the land is bought with a certain density to obey. That means they are allowed to build only a fix number of units. The nature of developer would then balance between sales vs concept vs design vs cost vs profit.
      10 storey apartment usually cannot justify the construction cost and land cost, unless you sell each unit with higher price. Therefore the mid range part wouldn't pass the profit part. That's why you can only see apartments of the range of RM 300k-400k always come in a high dense project.
      Anyway, thanks for sharing your view. I really appreciate it!!

      Too bad the channel has transitioned into mostly preview of new developments which is understandable since advertisement is the biggest revenue stream. However, as a viewer I have absolutely no interest in watching walk around videos of showroom and construction site. Just my 2 cents. You're still doing good deed to Malaysian property buyers nonetheless. Keep it up.

    Great review! Really reminds me of Government's quarters in Putrajaya, particularly Presint 9. I grew up there and Mellowood definitely have a same concept of layout. We parked our car at the "back" whereby the door you entered from the porch is to the kitchen and dining. The living room is at the "front" facing a garden/playground. Up to 2nd level, masterbedroom is facing the "front" and the 2 common rooms are facing the "back". Too bad we just don't have connecting balcony 😀 .
    Ahhh I just really2 love this type of layout. Very rare to find.

      @@iherng no problem! Indeed, gov's quarters in Putrajaya have its distinctive design of non-gated house and entering the house from the "back". When I was a teenager, I would go to the empty houses to just "check them out", and got really fascinated with the layout. Until today, I would get excited if I found a non-typical layout house. Haha

      I'm an owner here in Eco Majestic, one of the key reasons why I (along with most of the residents here) even bought Eco Majestic was due to the strata title lol. It's a personal preference, really. I do not want my neighbour to renovate and turn into a kindergarten, or ruin the facade with overly excessive renovations, heart pain u know if I have to go home everyday only to see my neighbour having a much nicer renovated home than mine. Haha. Cheers

      Hey there! Thanks for watching.
      I've thought of adding that investment part but I felt it wouldn't be appropriate as most of us have different risk appetite. I've done this many times before meanwhile a normal person is just buying his or her first property.
      There's also income difference, so instead of doing the investment part. I prefer to empower everyone with the knowledge and relevant information to allow them to make decisions of their own.=)

The kitchen countertop is clearly not "solid surface" as you described, it is a porcelain or ceramic tiled counter top. The floor also looks like laminate flooring to me, not timber flooring. There is a big difference in price, quality and upkeep for all of these finishings.
