Hey Adam... I bought Uncanny Automator and Fluent CRM both with the deals that you recommended, so thank you very much; I wanted to know if you would also recommend getting WP Fusion on top or do you think Automator and Fluent CRM is enough?
There are some great automations you can run. For example if someone fills out a form, you can automate their info being text messaged over to you for a quick call back, send an email to your assistant to email them some sample properties, trigger a popup on your website, redirect them to a page on your site with a video on it, push a webhook to your tracking system. These are just random thoughts.
@@Multiwoodcalgary Also if you have Facebook and are in my Facebook group, we have a contest going on to see who comes up with the best automation recipe. The real value though is seeing the clever things people are coming up with to get the most out of Automator.
Watching your videos, we've learned some of the automation you apply to your e-learning platform. It would be very appreciated if someday you could also give us some ideas about the automation you apply to your TH-cam channel and Facebook Group (if any), strategies to get emails from those social media, easy ways to approve new members, maybe using some kind of software to make easier answering comments, etc.
It’s actually included for people that purchase the product. Your name and email is pushed to my course website, an account is created for you, you are added to the course, and you get an email sent to you with the login. All using Uncanny Automator. Cool huh?
I've only found this video about Uncanny Automator on your TH-cam channel although you said you were going to create some more. Did you create them? I couldn't find them. Thanks
WP Fusion is a great plugin that connects with CRMs and offers some membership capabilities. Automator has no CRM dependencies and is focused more on connecting plugins and apps together. They do work well together, with WP Fusion adding the link to CRMs, tagging and membership features, and Automator allowing direct plugin integrations and more complex recipes. Automator supports both WP Fusion and WP Fusion Lite.
Hey buddy, so there is some overlap for sure. I am not advocating replacing one with the other, but will share some of the differences and some of the overlap. WPFusion is dependent on you using a CRM that they integrate with. Everything is driven with tags in the CRM and certain processes can be automated based on these tags. Automator is not dependent on anything, its an automation platform where there are triggers that set in motion a series of actions. It also automates external services that can send and receive webhooks. What Automater does the WPFusion doesn't: - Connects to SaaS services that support webhooks - Automates multiple actions - Has a vast array of triggers where WPFusion the trigger is tagging someone - Connects to any CRM that supports webhooks What WPFusion does that Automator doesn't: - Membership features, however today I will be showing how you can use Automator to make a lightweight membership website - Has some interesting integrations with Woo that only it can do, based on tags. So for example, if so and so has this tag, make the price 50% off. This is just an example, and a cool one at that 🙂 - Connects to specific CRM's via an API connection - There are other nuances to it, I personally own a WPFusion license and want to support Jack. Also, Automator works in conjunction with WPFusion and WPFusion lite. So if all you want is the API connection and tagging, vs webhooks, you can use Automator with WPFusion lite. Hopefully that helps.
If I understand what Adam is saying correctly, you can also use the triggers with WP Fusion, which in turn can connect to most major CRMs. So, for example, you can have a WooCommerce store and set up Automator to trigger WP Fusion on almost any type of action like someone viewing specific products. Then, you can send them through your CRM of choice and trigger any drip sequences or similar that you have. And that's a fundamental action. The possibilities are insane. If you offer courses on your WP website and power it by WooCommerce, Automator seems like a no-brainer too.
@@edwards9845 Sure (and just a note, the best way to reach us in via our website or at support at automatorplugin.com. WP Fusion handles everything on the CRM side, primarily adding, removing, and detecting tag changes. The example above could be done with WP Fusion alone, but maybe the needs end up being a bit more complex. Maybe you want to do something a bit unusual, like tag a user ONLY after they fail a quiz 3 times AND buy a course product 3 times. That's where Automator comes in; it can handle those complex triggers in the recipe, then you add an action in the recipe for "Tag a user with WP Fusion". Or maybe you want things reversed, so when a user is tagged you want them added to a Zoom Webinar and a course marked as completed. WP Fusion can't do that on its own, but with WP Fusion handling the tag change detection (as the trigger in the Automator recipe) and then Automator doing the Zoom and course actions, now the automation is possible. Those types of more complex scenario (with CRM dependencies) are where using the plugins together makes sense.

Uncanny Automator integrates with WP Fluent Forms which is a wonderful form builder but it does not have workflow solutions like GravityForms + GravityFlow + GravityView. Question - can Uncanny Automation somehow create automated workflows by linking WP Fluent Forms with some other workflow plugin or workflow service? It would be amazing to be able to use WP Fluent Forms and Ninja Tables to create digital workflow solutions.
I do not see anything about an automaton lifetime plan when following your link there. All prices are monthly and are no different weather following the affiliate link or going direct?
It integrates with any SaaS that can send / receive webhooks, and this includes Mailchimp. Alternatively if you prefer an API integration, you can use the free WPFusion Lite which works beautifully with Automator.
We recommend exactly what Adam suggested. The WP Fusion Lite integration works really well and connects with Mailchimp; you can pass tags using the free version which can add users to lists and trigger automations on the Mailchimp side.

The first questions would be what you're using for the profile and forum (or maybe you're using what's in BuddyBoss). Then, if we support the integrations you're using, you might create a recipe where the triggers are submitting a form (that's a profile update form) and adding a reply to a forum, with the action being course enrollment (you'd have to set the condition at the course level, you couldn't do the less unless you also use a membership plugin that can restrict access at the post/lesson level). I know that's a bit confusing, but hopefully that gave you some ideas of how to approach it.
