He seems a bit introverted when he's off stage. It's his process I think. He wasn't there to pose for that photographer who happened to be a fan. He wasn't mean to her just not animated like she wanted. If that's 'cold' then at least it gave him the idea for an AMAZING song!
Also to just take a picture of him without permission (how do you write it?) That's not okay, at least say "hey is it okay if I take a picture of you?" And if he says no then that's a no

Roland’s ‘Neptune’s Kitchen’ studio looked like a nice space. I heard somewhere that he only managed to make Elemental and Raoul & The Kings Of Spain in there, and then after spending a few years living in America and coming back all the gear in the studio had died from lack of use!
