Hey Randy with all the changes made the last couple years in multiple states concerning points and draw odds, I would love to see an updated episode of your state by state “How to hunt Deer/Elk draw odd strategy”. Thanks for everything you and your team do.
Hey randy I'm glad you survived your bad pizza !! Now that I'm getting older don't you think they should offer an special season or offer so many tags for someone that is say 65 or maybe even a one time type of deal ?
Definitely would love to hunt New Mexico for at least pronghorn, elk and aoudad. As I have mentioned many times before I want to hunt pronghorn in every state that I can no matter the weapon type. I prefer DIY public land style, but if I could get some extra money I would use the guided pool and have a guide for two days or use a landowner voucher (unless it’s ridiculously expensive) so I can check NM off the pronghorn hunt list. Especially since there are some giants in NM.
Randy it's your favorite state because of the chili let's be honest ....You might have to pull off the side of the road every hunt but,we still never learn lol.....

Couldn’t have been said better about the non-resident tag allocation. I’m sure I’ll still hear “non-residents are taking all our nm tags!” 😂

If you have deep pockets, you can hunt NM every year by buying a landowner authorization.
You just need a good savings plan and make the purchase of an elk tag your priority or just play the odds, either way you gotta play to win.
NM doesn't need a point system, the odds on their elk tags is so low they are almost zero anyway.
