@@forever3797 i totally agree. it looks, to say the least, funny when those supposedly dark creatures play the instruments. they should just play the roles of those mysterious characters strolling around the forest, picking wild strawberries or so. bruh
I saw them with Bloody Tyrant in Brno when I was traveling in Europe a couple years ago. I'm floored by the fact they played two sets (Ultar and Grima) for a total of over 2 hours each night. Touring as two bands is fucking crazy, all the while playing nearly every night... And then releasing a new album pretty much right after that.
I've seen two Grima shows this year alone, and each show was unforgettable. Fantastic band that keeps consistently releasing good music with taste and quality 👍 You guys rock!

I just discovered this band today. I'm in awe! This is absolutely fantastic! I always liked Russian bands. One of my favorite being Temnozor. Grima will now be part of my top favorite atmospheric black metal bands of all. The structures of the music, the arrangements and instrumentalisation is fantastic. The vocals are great as well. In top of that, the visual concept is beautiful, mysterious yet very intriguing. I will be adding this band to my collection. Hopefully their albums won't be too hard to find. The accordeon is a first for me. I hope they incorporate it more in the future. Great jobs guys. I'm a black metal listener since the 90's, I'm 45 years old and I didn't think I could still be inspired by bands anymore but Grima did it. Amazing!

Grima caught me off guard a while ago, I was all "I'm not even into death/black metal" when I started to listen, and I noticed right away they're much more than that. There's this "please feel at home" feeling in their songs, and unlike other bands, they're not trying too hard to look dark and evil or anything.
First time listen Grima, from Russia Atmospheric Black Metal bands. That sound like doom, death and black metal vibes coming this songs. Great job and welcome to Napalm Records. Cheers. 🤘🤘🤘
Путь, another Russian band heavily featured an accordion in the first two albums and their split with Ignis. One of my favorite BM bands, can highly recommend them.

Mannnnnn I’m still riding the highs of the Ulcerate and Selbst albums this year. I remember when we’d maybe get one or two good BM adjacent releases every few years. Now it’s like 4-5 amazing albums a year.
Brother, you forgot Akhlys, Darkspace, Spectral Wound, Paysage d’Hiver and Aldheorte. And don’t forget all the hidden gems on “Black Metal Promotions” TH-cam channel, there’s at least 1 or 2 amazing albums per week (Keep it going y’all, we all need new music)
