Hell! Yes! This might be my favorite type of SCP, the kind that seems only bizarre and silly but have a real underlying fridge horror element the longer you think about it. It took me a long time to find, but the Tale in the second half of this video is called Tension And Release. The scariest part of any horror movie, novel, or game is the build up and suspense rather than the actual payoff. If 2006 knows that, he's going to continue to build suspense forever, because once he releases the tension the fear factor will eventually end. He learned of the fear of the unknown, and now he is harnessing it by keeping the entire facility on the edge of their seat, not knowing what's going to happen next. 2006 not doing anything, is the scariest possible thing he can do.

Hell! Yes! This might be my favorite type of SCP, the kind that seems only bizarre and silly but have a real underlying fridge horror element the longer you think about it.
It took me a long time to find, but the Tale in the second half of this video is called Tension And Release.
The inclusion of that story is what turned this from a decent video into a really good one!

It's so good that it traumatized me as a kid. But even after that, The Shining is the only movie that had me looking for more horror movies and like it.
Unpopular opinion, but I found it to be a very dull horror movie. Even as a kid I found it oddly to boring to be scary.
@@mironricardo I agree with you. I rewatched it recently. Lots of stretched out scenes, half of it is basically the boys dad just losing his mind which isn't that scary, he just looks a bit creepy. The final part is pretty good, but it's honestly pretty mediocre.
But I will say it is still a fine movie to watch.

I recall they said a keter object could be a plain box that just teleports anywhere around the world because it would be impossible to contain, yet a relic that instantly killed everyone who touched it would be safe because you could just put it in a lockbox and not worry about it.
SCP-2006 is believed to be an XK world ending scenario and because of the breakout it is keter class meaning uncontainable but not invisible. It will break out again and scare the world into a Fallout dead world

The scariest part of any horror movie, novel, or game is the build up and suspense rather than the actual payoff. If 2006 knows that, he's going to continue to build suspense forever, because once he releases the tension the fear factor will eventually end. He learned of the fear of the unknown, and now he is harnessing it by keeping the entire facility on the edge of their seat, not knowing what's going to happen next.
2006 not doing anything, is the scariest possible thing he can do.
