i understand your point, and the sherpa people are essential to guided expeditions and trekk agencies, but people do solo summits without supplemental oxygen, sherpas or guides. Look up Göran Kropp for example
@sebastianfjorn yes but are they putting down ladders and stringing the ropes themselves. If they're using a path already laid out then that makes it a little easier.
Ice Fall Doctors are the MVPs that allow for dreams to be realized! Please keep posting this valuable and dangerous work. The world needs to know more about what is required for those to climb Everest. It is very interesting and I have the utmost respect for what you do for the climbers. Thanks for sharing!
I certainly hope that the IceFall Doctors did not have to make their own lunch... That someone back at camp prepared it for them. Love you guys, praying for your safety thru'out the season. Have been for over 10 yrs now. I would never want to climb but admire and follow those who do.
NAMASTE. Brother's ...incredible job .......making life easier for the climbers..... bet most of them really don't know wat it takes to do this job....ie..setting the ropes n ladders for them.....Without you nothing is possible n their dreams cannot be realised..A. mighty shout out to you n your team ....❤❤❤from South Africa
Looks like right now it's the best time to summit. Anyways always remember whatever you're getting paid it isn't enough always ask for more. They can afford it.
#opening routes for passengers on everest ... fixed that for you. You and your team are the true climbers, they just follow your route. Without you guys, there would be no expeditions. They don't summit, you do. They're just privileged to be able to with your help... Stay safe Nawang.
Crazy that there are fixed ropes pretty much starting right after base camp all the way up to the peak. Name me one other mountain that has that set up
In the age of equal opportunity- why shouldn't there be sherp'ee(s) earning their bread in everest, also for the female climbers And for all that cares
Mad respect for these men, no one would reach the summit without them in my opinion
True: and Hillary emphasized how vital the Sherpas’ work is for climbers

The real heroes! Thank you. Great channel.
that is one hell of a job, unbelievable and nothing but the utmost respect for these IceFall Doctors!!
For some reason, I thought fixing the ropes was a quiet activity - you’ve got a mini-construction site going on there! Impressive
The men’s men. Great skill & courage.
You are the best, guys!! ❤
Bravery
I want to see how ropes are tied/attached to the rock firmly.
Stay safe. I hope your efforts are well rewarded.
Boa sorte, rapazes... se cuidem, não se machuquem!!! 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

How do I get this job?
Magnificent scenery. Sherpas are so nimble compared to the huffing and puffing Tourists!
Crazy that there are fixed ropes pretty much starting right after base camp all the way up to the peak. Name me one other mountain that has that set up
Ice fall doctors are amazing.
GODBLESS ❤
So many lives depend on what they do. ❤

The sherpas are the glue that holds it all together. The sun is more beautiful from the top of the world.
