I was born in a Hindu family and my family is very religious yet secular. When I was a kid I read about Jesus from somewhere and was deeply moved. I used to read Gospels and had a small hard bound Bible. Also, I used to write letters to a Christian organization based at London and they used to send me more books to read. My family never objected to this infact they encouraged me.
I have been celebrating Christmas since I was 5years old and till now I do. I pray to Lord Jesus just like I pray to Lord Shiva.
I am thankful to my parents for allowing me to be who I am. In my temple I have Lord Shiva, Lord Jesus, and Allah all together.
Let there be no boundaries and only love!

This is an exceptionally special video. Thanks for sharing this personal day. Caleb is a good-looking boy and it touched my heart when he said he wanted to be baptised only when his sister arrived from India. So considerate and respectful of Caleb. Cadence is certainly a pretty and bright young girl. I actually think she will do well at school and go far in life. Lovely to see the kids having fun with that spray stuff and covering the furniture and goodness knows what. Even granny was delighted with her purse. So it was a very special day. Caleb you're really thoughtful... i'm truly happy that you took a decision to take Baptism and waited Cadie to come home and witness your big day... This is a way that everyone should do like if you're not good in preaching then the best way to show and teach others the goodness of Jesus Christ is by our way of living and our actions.

Yes in Kolkata, Christmas is celebrated in a grand way. I know lots of Christmas songs because I studied in an English convent school which was attached to Church. i just found your incredible channel serching about expirience about adopting, your my fav, i really love it, im christian too and i was involved as a school sunday teacher for chruch now im in praise ministry so i got so teary when i saw Cadence being active with the others children at your church. Caleb is already so madure for his young age to accept Jesus in his life, i know he already did it but wanted to be bapticed, you must feel so blessed t.t

Wow! Had she been to some kind of practice sessions before? She was not even looking at the others but she could do all the actions quite right.
There was a 30 minute practice session the morning-of, and that was the only one she had ever been to.

In Luke 3:3 Acts 19:4 it’s mentioned ‘Baptism of repentance’ A baby doesn’t understand sin or repentance so it cannot make a decision of leaving the sinful life and living truly for Jesus..
also Romans 6:4 says “Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father even so we also should walk in newness of life”
Therefore A baptism is equivalent to burrying the old sinful nature of oneself and rising up as a new person.. making a covenant with God that I will live a holy life.. so it is necessary for a person to be matured enough to make that personal decision for himself..

How popular is JanamAsthami (Krishna's Birthday) in USA among christians jews or other religions there? Do americans know of hindu festivals like DeepAwali (festival of light) and Holi (festival of colors)?
I don't think Krishna's birthday is widely known. I think Americans are somewhat aware of diwali, but not holi as much.
