@@tremill13true…this is league specific but I wrote off drafting any RB the chargers draft this year because with RB you can’t wait a year to get out of that 3-headed RBBC IMO
Great video. Lots of us were burned over and over again last year with RBs we thought would be good but landed in crappy places. I've got a lot of Charbonnets and Spears and Bigsbys and Millers and Ro Johnsons and they've all been a bunch of nothing. So far. I still have hope but I can't help but feel like this class is just like all the guys I just mentioned.
I mean You are saying you were burned last year, but all the RB's you listed were behind a starter rb???? Spears behind henry, Bigsby behind Etienne, Charb behind Walker, Kendre behind KAmara.... What did you honestly expect?? I think you were just over optimistic, thinking they'd beat out the better starters on there team?
Nathan: It's all about the draft capital for these RBs. Avery: Draft capital has proved not to matter over the last couple of years. 😂Just giving you crap. I know you were talking about different tiers of RBs in the draft lol
New Dynasty player here starting a new team. I have the 6th, 18th, and 30th picks in a 3 round rookie draft. Who should I be targeting at those spots? Standard league. Thanks!
In a dynasty sitting at 1.04 and then not having draft capital until 3.02 and 3.03. Love taking BPA, but I’m solid at WR and have holes at TE and RB. RB is the kryptonite as I only have 1 viable starter in Etienne. Have Roschon Johnson, Keaton Mitchell and Cam Akers are my RB2 options. It seems crazy to take a wr at 1.04 even if one of the top 3 WRs or Brock Bowers is available. Feel I’m forced into Brooks or Benson. This is a 1QB league so QBs don’t typically go that high. Thinking I may need to package two WRs for an RB since I have Nico, Cooper, Evans, Nacua, and St. Brown as my WRs and can start up to 4 WRs. Any advice in such a precarious spot without my 2.03?
I do think the RBs in this class will end up surprising people. Curious to see what kind of DC the like of Bensen, Lloyd and Corum get (assuming Brooks is RB1)
In my shallow league (10 team start 8) I’m avoiding all RBs in this class. Going QB/WR down the board bcs i think im much more likely to land a startable asset.
Let the nfl tell us what the value of these RBs is. I think the way the vets got paid says these guys are not getting the draft capital we want for them to be as valuable to us. I think there are a couple outliers but I’m speaking overall.
I myself am very excited for my rookie draft. I've got the 1.06,1.11,1.12,2.01,3.02,3.06,3.10,3.12, and 4.06. I will absolutely be taking a RB at the end of the 1st or at the 2.01
I offered my friend the 2.02, a future 2nd, and Jakobi Myers for the 1.06. Should I go back and adjust the 2.02 to the 2.07 and add a future 3rd to it instead?
I would maybe get rid of the future pick all together. If he is competing this is a pretty fair trade to him. If he needs more than i would offer the future 3rd. that 1.06 is valued high for some people, but i wouldn’t send your best offer right away.
Great, another RB class of Charbonnet's, Miller's, Spear's, Bigsby's, Roschon's, inbound to save fantasy. lol Bucky Irving is another small, slow receiving RB just like Kyren Williams coming out, so he is bound to hit, right? Almost every team needs a RB, as the 2017 RB class ages out. I see the fact that the NFL doesn't want to pay RB's as top athletes move to other positions/sports. This will translate into more RBBC in the future. Bell Cow backs are fading into NFL history.
1 qb 12 ppr I was offered 1.05 a 2025 1st for jacobs and 3.08 would I be crazy to keep jacobs Other rb are CMC breece hall james Cooks jaylen warren kendre miller sean tucker zack moss eljiah mithchell
So what 40 were you expecting Bucky to get at the combine? He’s not a burner man, that’s not his game. Him falling from Rd 2 to Rd 4 in rookie drafts because he ran a 4.5 is wild. Idk why anyone is expecting him to run significantly better than 4.5… that being said, find me a SINGLE clip of him chased down by a defender. It doesn’t happen, he’s fast enough. Yes it will come down to draft capital of course
@@thedynastydomain Fair . Despite being smaller though, he breaks a lot of tackles because of his agility, balance, and vision. I think he’s a huge sleeper at this point. Maybe I’ll be wrong! Excited to see where he goes
Most people that play dynasty do not play superflex(2QB). I'm in 5 dynasty leagues and I'd be shocked if more than 1 or 2 QBs go in 1st round of rookie drafts this year.
@@thedynastydomain I have 4 1 qb and 1 SF and that’s most ppl ik too. Rookie RBs are overrated. I've won my (10-team, 1 QB) league 3 out of the past 4 years with David Montgomery and Derrick Henry (despite Henry putting up 2 points in Championship Week). I'm not drafting an RB as long as there are WRs I remotely like -- I'd *consider* Brooks or Benson with a mid-late 2nd, but I'm not taking any of them ahead of guys like Adonai, Worthy, McConkey, even Pearsall and Franklin. If I didn't have McBride and Andrews, I'd even take Sinnott and Sanders ahead of any RB in this class. For all the youth obsession, Henry was just RB5 this past year and Monty the RB9. Would I prefer Bijan? Yes. Would Bijan have ensured I got the first round bye and ship #3? Questionable. At some point you gotta stop collecting talent and go win money, lol. Gonna run it back with my Old Man Swagga for ship #4 this year -- just hope the Ravens get some good OLs 🔥
We watch our own film - but we rely heavily on analytics (our own), landing spot, and draft capital as we are not NFL scouts/professional talent evaluators. There are some really good former players/scouts with film analysis on TH-cam you should check out if you’re into that.
I believe across all fantasy footballers that make content, combine results get weighted too heavily I love domain though for all the work they put in and they always strive to form opinion based off more advanced , analytics, which is respectable imo Being a college football fan and even following high school recruiting, it’s clear not enough film is watched because most people that play fantasy or make content, don’t learn about the rookies until January, 3 months before the draft. Watching these players actually play games last 2-3+ years is invaluable Of course, draft capital is massive because that’s how the nfl teams value these players. Whoever Dallas drafts at RB will be the first RB taken in many rookie dynasty drafts.
