Puss In Boots The Last Wish>Velma Fax Bro
At least The Last Wish (formerly Nine Lives & 40 Thieves) gave out something, being the message about trusting someone, a plot that is simple but easy to follow, & characters that have enough screentime to be entertaining (Death the wolf being a Force of Nature Villain, "Big" Jack Horner being a Villain from the 60's to 90's, A Sympathetic Villain Family that try to find Goldilocks' real family, & a dog that is both funny yet tragic since he was literally thrown into the river yet being oblivious about the folks around him).

Anyone else think of the show Velma just a huge terrible fanfic ?
I only watched the first two episodes. But something that really stood out to me is the flow of the “story”.
Scene transitions don’t feel natural. Every time we go to a new setting or scene it feels very choppy because a lot of the shows “jokes” and dialogue have nothing to do with what’s happening in the show itself.
For example the opening scene. Why was Velma in the showers? Why did Velma attack Dalphne unprovoked? (she never does this again btw) Why does she ask Daphne about race blind casting? It has nothing to do with any of the shows plots.
Random things happen for no reason and random social political messages get blurted out for no reason. They have nothing to do with the plot and don’t make sense within the context of the story.
Also, I think Velma as a character could have worked IF she was the only one spewing all the “woke” stuff and the other characters (and writers) acknowledge she’s a hypocrite that judges people unfairly and call her out on it.
Honestly this shitshow makes me really appreciate how decent Scoob! was

I disagree that with you that they aren't any funny moments Velma season one. The scene where Mindy - I mean Velma - gets hit by a police car has an repeat viewing quality to it. Velma tweaking over to decapitated body of Fred's mother - although was not funny encapsulated the total lack of respect for the source material. I really hope by the time the second season arrives apathy will set in, and a far better animation series will distract everyone from Velma season two...

We all get it, it's one of the worst things that humanity had created, and a insult to animation, and entertainment as a whole!!!! At this point, I am just beyond sick and tired of the excessive amount of videos about Velma!!!! I just want to be given a break from it, because this cartoon had caused my sanity to be jeopardized!!!!!

This is honestly one of the best reviews of Velma, you made Mr. Christian show next to the Roundtable, Sarcastic Chorus, Brainpilot, 3C films, Vailskibum94, Rebeltaxi, Saberspark, and even Cartoonshi (despite me not being a huge fan of his channel, he does sometimes make constructive reasons on certain shows he likes & dislikes), since they also reviewed this show pretty well as well, and if you ask me, I personally enjoyed people's thoughts on the show than the show itself really because this show for what I've seen little bit is really disgusting, mean spirited, cruel, and really painfully unfunny with a wasted plot, unlikeable & one dimensional a#$holes with very little redeemable qualities, poor representation, and it's really annoying jokes about how self aware it is because they use this joke a lot in every episode, and it honestly gets really tiring and boring overtime, and like I said, the characters in the show are incredibly unlikeable jerks, but Velma (the main character in this show) is probably the worst offender out of the characters because this show changed her from being a likable, caring, and good friend to Fred, Daphne, Shaggy, and Scooby Doo as well as enjoying solving mysteries to an absolute selfish, narcissistic, judgmental, smart aleck, and extremely cruel mean girl who treats people horribly especially to Daphne and Norville, and this show tried so hard to make us sympathize with her, when in reality, she's not, heck, she's not even close to being sympathetic to begin with because in the flashback, it reveals that she's pretty much the main reason why her mother left the family as Velma was just a bratty child all along without being abused or tragic, and despite the mean girls being bullies to her, Velma herself can be just as rude as them as she constantly call people names, and treat people like s#$t, so she's honestly no better to them, thus making her a very unsympathetic character, and not to mention, there was a scene where Velma was twerking in front of the death of Fred's mom (while Norville was puking as well, which was 🤢🤮), which comes across as really uncomfortable and honestly ruins the serious moments in this show as well and she is also kinda racist in this series as well, & in my opinion, she became the Eric Cartman of the show, but without understanding what made that character iconic to people as well as being good example of how to write a jerk character right because while he isn't one of my favorite characters in South Park and is also a selfish racist jerk as well, he at least had some funny moments and redeeming qualities where he isn't just a mean grumpy bully, he actually shows a good side of himself where he does show respect & care towards his friends (especially to Kyle), everyone, & even his own mother, while Velma on the other hand barely has any funny moments or jokes, and doesn't have any redeeming qualities where she can have a good side of herself of that she isn't just a grumpy heartless jerk nor does she show actual care & respect towards her friends & family, she was just an incredibly painful, annoying, unfunny, irredeemable, heartless, and really mean spirited a#$hole to everyone around her, and as for the other characters in this show, they also got flanderized from being these likable, & iconic characters who were very good friends to each other as well as enjoying solving mysteries to these really horrible people who treat each other like trash, and are very bad people as well, where Daphne became a generic mean popular girl drug addict, Fred also became a spoiled bratty rich mean boy, who's basically the punching bag of the show, and Shaggy (Norville) became a absolute simp, oh, and don't get me started on what Velma said in this show, she literally said that adults watching cartoons is a bad thing, and that kids should only watch cartoons because the writers still think "animation is meant for kids" and that it's a genre, when in reality it's not because animation can be enjoyed for everyone, not just to kids, but also to teens & adults as well, and animation is not a genre, it's a medium, and cartoons like Steven universe, Star vs the forces of evil, The Owl House, She ra, Amphibia, Gravity Falls, and even Scooby Doo Mystery Incorporated who which despite those shows being made for kids, they're shows that can be enjoyed for all ages for their complex stories, wonderful animations, interesting characters, good messages, good humor, and covering mature topics, while adult cartoons like this show, Family Guy, Big Mouth, and Paradise PD have very immature humor, bland & ugly art styles, bad messages, and really one dimensional and unlikeable characters with very little redeemable qualities or moments, and pretty much insult & treat the audience like trash, which is pretty sad if you think about it 😟😞😓😢😭🤧, so yeah overall, Velma (2023) is a wasted and disappointing show with really terrible writing, unlikeable and bland characters, unfunny jokes, and a really wasted story, and it pretty insults the Scooby Doo franchise as a whole, and it's honestly a shame because this show really did have potential to be a really good adult cartoon version of Scooby Doo, and this could have a really good murder mystery show, but sadly during it's release in early January, this show honestly wastes so much on the murder mystery story, just to replace it with the pointless and not even entertaining fillers, and execution of the rest of the writing of the show didn't really save it either, which is also a shame as well because this show really did the characters so dirty, so yeah, this show is a 1 out of 10 for me because the only good thing about this show is the animation style since it's honestly the best part of the show in my opinion and it is pretty looking to look at, but the rest of the show sucks, and it's not really an adult cartoon I would watch again and I'm not interested in second season of the show (if it does happen or not) as this show became not only my least favorite adult cartoon, but also my least favorite cartoon of all time as well as being my least favorite Scooby Doo show, oh speaking of Scooby Doo, he isn't in this show, which also frustrate me, the writers pretty decided not to include him in this show because they pretty think that he's what makes Scooby Doo a kids franchise, which is such a stupid statement to make since Scooby Doo is a franchise that can be enjoyed for all ages, and that also made me dislike this show as well, and if I want to see a really good mature Scooby Doo, I would rather watch Zombie Island, Witches Ghosts, Mystery Incorporated, and I would even watch the live action movies as well because at least those incarnations are way more mature than this self aware show ever did, and if I want to watch some really good adult cartoons, I'll watch South Park, King of the hill, Arcane, Harley Quinn, Helluva Boss, Hazbin Hotel, Invisible, Bojack Horseman, Moral Orel, Final Space, Inside Job, Close Enough, and Bob's Burgers since those shows have way better writing, characters, animations, and humor than this trashy show.

20:10 honestly, you do you, Christian. For me, I’m so sick and tired of feeling ripped off with anticlimactic blows as this scene. All this buildup to a fight with ONLY Daphne and Velma just having one offscreen hit, and all this screen time solely on wasting their energy on someone else is a a PUSSY move. It’s blatantly common in media and entertainment in general. And I keep gaining a lot of rampant urges from this insult to promises.
Two blows aren’t enough. It just makes me want to beat up this Daphne for being a pussy to do more than just two.

Honestly as soon as I heard there was a murderer the first two I went to were indeed 1. Velma's mom, and 2. Fred's mom. It was purely too predictable.
