Thank you for the videos. My brother and I are fans of yours and we prospect in NW Missouri. There’s never a lot but we enjoy getting out together. It’s a relaxing, fun and labor intensive hobby.
I thought that was really Kool I learned alot just to start dabbling into that hobby as well any hobby that brings you joy is priceless enough but one that reimburses you financially in any way.... REALLY Kool man
you prolly dont care at all but does any of you know a method to log back into an Instagram account..? I somehow lost my login password. I appreciate any tips you can give me.
@Henry Castiel Thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site thru google and I'm trying it out atm. Takes a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
I have land in nw missouri with 2 quarry sites that run downstream over stairstep flagstones. I should definitely try this along the larger cracks in the limestone bedrock.
Just earned a sub from this video. I'm in MO as well, have access to several locations I think I would like to try my hand at looking for shiny stuff. I was thinking it would not be worth the effort here, but your video has shown me otherwise. I just do not want to invest in equipment and have not ROI (although experience and having fun are hard to assess a real value for). My biggest worry would be like the old joke about the person being fired from the M&M factory for rejecting too many W's... that I would be missing the valuable stuff due to lack of having an experienced hand/eye with me. Anyhow, I will go check more of your videos after I head down this rabbit hole, thanks again for this video!
Been watching a few of your vids. Love the energy. I live in Fredericktown Mo. I have a friend that Captains Creek runs thru the family property. I’m hope to try it this week. Lots of rain in the forecast. We will see.
@@Kylethiemann just found hour site, what part of MO. do you live? Anywhere near Springfield? E-mail me at mlippy01@gmail.com I have a creek you could try if you'd like?
Have you ever prospected in south central missouri ? I’m about an hour south in the lead belt and after this pandemic and cold winter I’m ready to get out and give it a try. My wife and I are always hunting , fishing and searching for artifacts so I bought a couple pans to take along . By the way, great vids !
I was thinking the same thing I to live in South Central missouri outside the FT Leonardwood Army base and there's a few rivers and a spring around my area and I often wonder if there is a probability of getting some good or decent amount of gold out of the many creeks or rivers and make a weekend hobby of panning the endless amount of river banks
I have found small peices of gold In monroe county Missouri and Randolph county, Macon county... I wasn't looking for gold but found it. And I can't wait to get to the places I have found it and pan for more.
Hey kyle I live in southwest Missouri, my dad showed me your videos about a week ago and I've been hooked since. I love the outdoors and I've always wanted to pan for gold but I have zero confidence that there is any near me. Ive ordered a pan and Ive started making my own "tube sucking pipe". Basically all I want to know is. What are the odds of me finding anything based off of my location?
cross country living I live in Springfield and I have found pepper sized gold in local streams. It's there you have to do your research and prospecting
Nobody can tell you there is gold where you are based upon your location. His video gives you tool ideas an he describes what to lookout for to begin your search.
Im near joplin. I have found a few flacks of dust around here. A few years ago, I was on a float trip on the elk river and randomly found a 9 gram chucks while taking a leak in the woods. You just nevet know.
have you seen the spot price of precious metals recently? What may look like a small reward, is only getting more valuable in this economy. Stable global currencies use gold and other commodities to back them (instead of good faith and credit.)
I make them i know there is a ton of people that want them I am currently in the patent process and they will be available soon i am sorry that it has been such a long wait.
Between H.C. and independence there it a good line of flour gold. But you need a shallow setting on the slouse (spelling) box. And I would recomend a shaker table to get it. Use Jet Dry.
No offense but I think you made more money on thiis TH-cam video of yours than on the gold you extracted form the creek. Good video , good presentation skills
I think they only make an average of 4-20 bucks a day .. ... every now and then you get lucky and make more .. but... a person can head up two states and really make 100-200 a day ..
Missouri isn’t known for its large gold deposits. We prospect creeks in NW Missouri and we find gold, but not enough to pay for a gold pan not to mention the gas it takes to get to the creek. Simply put, its a labor of love and its always an adventure with my brother. It’s just a fun hobby.

Your video clearly shows this,so well done on the video, excellent!!
That is what we expect from glacial gold. There isn't much in Missouri but it is fun to find.

Absolutely, you should hit gold. I find it down here in Platte County. The glaciers brought it down to just about KC

I was wondering if you checked the other side of that rock.
Thank you so much for your videos, they've helped me greatly
I'm in the Ozarks in Arkansas you reckon there's gold here like there great video new supporter here
I know paydirt from the Arkansas River at hot springs has gold.
What area is this? I’m on the Missouri River at St Joseph and was told it’s a gold bearing river? Same as Platte River 😮
Great job!
Went gold painting in Middle Tennessee. I only found a bunch of leveright. 🤣😂 Leavright there, it's not worth 💩
Where can I get one of those suckers. I know some have made some but either way do they sell them online or is it easier and cheaper just to build
nice video, can u pan for gold without a permit?
I would be to busy looking for arrowheads to pan for gold
Do you still go out at all? I'm an disabled Army vet that's really wants to learn and get outside.
Good stuff!!
Can you run a highbanker? Great video
Where do you buy and what brand of sluice box are you using?

Very nice gold Kyle! Have you ever had it tested to see if its Black Hills gold or where its origin is from?
I have not ! I’d like to do that though.
@@Kylethiemann If you do let us know. I am trying to figure out the source. I am also on the Missouri River basin in ND.
Very nice shiny
Looks like a lot of work with little reward

You ever check out the black river?
I live in kansas and have been just starting to get my hands on panning in creeks with no luck yet...whereabouts in MO do you look?
Mid mo
If it's "chunky" gold then It's NOT glacier gold. It's worn crystalline gold. From the load it eroded from.
Cabe highly unlikely to be anything but glacier gold in Missouri. I've never come across any lode or placier that's been documented. Just saying.
Have you tried further north around the mark Twain lake area?
I have not yet got that far it does look promising though.
@@Kylethiemann I have a place to look in that area. I am new to gold panning I haven't been yet but looking forward to doing a little panning
That’s exciting let me know if you find anything.
@@Kylethiemann most definitely
Yo Kyle, just found your channel. I read that you as re around 150 miles from S.L. what direction?

@@Kylethiemann I’ve seen a lot of miners use this pump how are you going to patent it? Just curious not here to hate.
Awesome man
A great day.
How thick is the miner's moss carpet?
How many grams of gold did you find that day?
You should mark your spots with brown tape
Nice ink...
Like that, Kyle
Watch for those cottonmouth and moccasins.
How much do you earn doing this?
Ever here of gold around the kc area?

I'd be curious to move that rock. Just curious about it shifting over the top of a deposit.
