I appreciate that medical prevention is important to Medicare, but patients decisions not do services are not in the physicians control. The attempt to inform is what this needs to be about, not reimbursement changes. I've experienced physicians making a 30 minute limit to each appointment which does not work for the Dr or patient. The insurance company benefits need to be able to clearly know before care. Balance billing without charge limits is insane. Er visits for a short time and test are more than the cost of a car, something is really wrong.
