I want to thank you for sharing your hikes. I’ve watched many hikers and overlanders videos, most of which jealously guard their route & specific location. You on the other hand gladly share and visually explain your trips. At 76 I have to pick my trips carefully. Your generosity is very appreciated. Thanks, keep your efforts going.
Thank you so much! The entire purpose of my videos is to show people how to get to these amazing places. No one is willing to protect a place they don't know about. Glad you are enjoying the videos. Thanks for watching! 👍
Gorgeous! I will definitely have to make the trip out there this fall. I am so glad your trip with Squidly worked out, and y’all got to take your boys too! 🥾🏕️
Love the channel, next time you plan on going back to the Bankhead, let a fella know. The wife and I would really enjoy meeting you. We watch all your videos and typically go have the same adventure. We live close to the Bankhead an go out there as much as we can.
So glad to hear that! I'd love to meet up with you sometime. Send me an e-mail (southeasternfrontiers@gmail.com) and I'll try to let you know the next time I do something in the Bankhead. I'll warn you though that sometimes it can be very last minute as I try to work around my work schedule (and weather)...and summer is upon us now and I'm not a native Alabamian so could be slow for a while! But, sometimes there is a break in the heat. 👍
It is an very beautiful set of waterfalls -- and I didn't even show you all of them that we saw! It can be done as a day hike, but is a little long for me (7-8 miles round trip).
When you put the note up at the bottom saying I’ve heard there was a waterfall if you keep going was that same stream at 17:19 in the video where you stop and eat lunch but just upstream? I was hoping to find this waterfall on my next visit to Sipsey. Keep up the great work!
No. This was a branch off of the stream about half way from the camp site to where we had lunch. In my Braziel Creek area map, it would be right under the W in Sipsey Wilderness. drive.google.com/file/d/12QnavwY1hIkXvQEyWTHYQDhc3M81r9th

What a cool hike to hidden waterfalls. I really need to do an overnight hike.
