I never missed one video of yours, the food you made for your family looks very delicious and healthy, you are blessed to have an extraordinary talent, thanks for sharing your life with us
Thank you so much
Mine took just over 4weeks to get this size. You may have used OLD SOIL but I wish I noticed you fertilized the soil before planting!
Then maybe I’ll get 25days too.
thanks you for sharing
you're welcome
Wow very nice ❤
Thanks 🤗
Does it sprout and come away again?
Yes it does
They like the heat, here in the UK I've managed to grow them in the greenhouse through spring into the summer, but never taken then directly outside as not sure they'd survive the UK's temperature changes...Would be interested to hear others
You can take some of them outside and see the result
I’m growing it here in south east Texas and it doesn’t like cold weather at all. Minimal growth below 70 F and below 50 F seems to kill it. It thrives at 90 F and above. We keep it in the greenhouse until March or April and then turn it loose
I would personally recommend that you keep trying to grow it outside, even if it fails/not prolific. Try to get your plant to flower and produce seeds. You keep repeating the process over and over for a few years. Eventually you'll get some plants that are acclimated to UK's climate.
Try to keep seeds from the healthiest looking plant at the end of each season.
As a farmer, I never understood why people waste so much time washing and soaking seeds. Have you ever seen a farmer do that? They sow the seeds and then irrigation takes care of making them sprout. There is no need to do any of that extra stuff, but I guess it makes the video more interesting. Just plant the seeds and water them. Done.
Thank for you feed back, soaking seed is a good way to speed up germinate process.
I guess seeds are coated with preservative to prevent rotten and insects that is why you need to soak
@@adrielventigan4182 No, you don't need to soak. Have you ever seen a farmer do that? No. It is absolutely unnecessary.
İt definetly speeds up the germination process by many seeds. I do it all the time. The Problem for Farmers is: wet Seeds Stick together and Are Not good to work with in machines. They do Not run down pipes etc!
@@nihatsavmaz6677 That's incorrect. There is no problem for farmers. People who graduated from TH-cam University think that's better. Farmers plant seeds and water the soil, period. The wet soil is just like a paper towel and the proper medium for germination. Germinating in paper towels is for people who don't know what they're doing.
What about planting it without soil? What should I do? What fertilizer should I use
You can use fertilizer A&B same as hydroponics fertilizer.
Would it be possible to plant in zone 7b in the US?
Yes you can, summertime is a good time to grow water spinach
I'm in 7b. Just north of Atlanta. I've planted mine and they are coming along nicely. I can't wait to try them. Mist of the videos I've watched about them say you can cut and come again and also riit smaller cuttings ti increase your yield. I'm ready to find out. Good luck with your garden this year 💜
What's the growing condition need to be like? Was it mostly shaded? Temperature? Did you watered it a lot or normally? Etc.
It can grow almost full year. Watef spinach need much water but not over watering
How much sun does it require to grow
6-8 hours per day
Will it grow back after you cut it?
Yes it will
For that space of soil, how many kilo you harvested? Thank you for sharing
Maybe 4-5kilo
Good afternoon . Would you be able to send water spinach seeds to me here in Brazil?
Yes I can help to buy it for you, but the cost maybe expensive for shipping. Please try to find at your local shop around your country first.
Most countries prohibit bringing seeds and agriculture/animal products.
Did it attract insects or worms?
Yes it did. But at my area during I growing there is no insects or worms attack.
Can you get seeds from your harvest?
Also, how do you know if it's a weak plant to remove?
Yes you can get water spinach seeds after it flower
weak plant is the plant that leaves is not good and stem is small
After harvesting, does it regrow?
Yes it regrow
@@V87Garden How many days does it take for the 2nd harvest to mature? I see you cut pretty close to the soil but at the end cut out the stems, is it better to leave more stem in for regrow?
Hello sir, could you provide me good quality water spinach seeds? Once I was cheated by Flipkart, they send me Spinach seed and the value you can't imazine, in 100 spinach seeds Rs. 200/- is it good online method?
Water spinach seeds I bought from local market in my area. Ship from here to your area it cost expensive. I think that you try to find at your local area is much better.
