    Thank you!!! I hate when people call Marines soldiers. Some people think that a soldier is anyone who is in the military and that is not true. FOR ALL OF YOU:
    Army - Soldier
    Marines - Marine
    Navy - Sailor
    Airforce - Airman (no, not a pilot)

And there really are seals that fail ranger school, asa matter of fact, many of them get sent there as punishment for things like dui. And thats a broad statement you making about kickin my ass, im taller than you and ive been workin out for years. Thats cool ur 0311, im a poolee, and i chose 03, question tho, do they guarantee ur job as rifleman?

    Why is Stevie Nicks singing in the backround?

  • @ecthelion83
    @ecthelion83 15 ปีที่แล้ว

    Not if it was in self-defense, which it would be if you tried to punch a drill instructor. For the others getting theirs in, for them it would be coming to the assistance of a comrade under attack. On top of that, they would be using force to combat insubordination, so I see nothing wrong with that.

    I'm just replying to what appears in my inbox, and no, i'm not getting worked up. Even if my statements might indicate that, there is no possible way for you to contrive that i'm upset, or even emotional at all. I'm not, and overall my attitude is very casual about this, and furthermore I was correct in my original post. Ranger school is more physically demanding than BUDS is, and I believe they are a more tactically sound, and combat feasible fighting force. PM me next time, im tired of posts.

    highest casualty rate? cut the TV on and listen to the news and count how many times you hear about a soldier being killed versus hearing about a Marine getting killed. and last time i checked, we all get payed off the same payscale, so...

    I have to concur. We grew up in the 80's with the fear of the Russians. I joined the Army National Guard in 87 as a cav scout. I was into all the Rambo BS. I then went active air force for seven years and served in Desert Storm. Im not ignorant to the fact that we did not care for Kuwait but for the oil of Kuwait and Saudi Arabia provide us. I can atleast except the truth of this and understand why we would protect them but to invade a country for this is f...up.

Have some respect. people get stoned in other countries for even implying the stuff you are flat out saying. An ifintry marine and infintry amry ARE the same. the differnce between army And USMC is that all marines MOS are combat oreninted, onlike Army who have alot desk jobs. However army has more (alot more) special arfare units. I.E. Green Berets, rangers (like myself), delta force, ext. force recon is not special forces. You are the few and the pround only because you dont have any "Poogs" to do shit work. the navy does it for you.

    im not in this arguement but ill tell you, i can probably beat the shit out of most marines, army, or whatever. Its cuz im 6'3 and 200lbs. The military deserves respect, but mostly its just a bunch of young guys who want action. thats it. Theyre still people and i know dozens of marines who aren't in that great of shape physically. People join the marine corp oftne because they marines make you feel special. They promise everyones a badass, its just not true. but military service is noble.

  • @Trilique
    @Trilique 14 ปีที่แล้ว

  • @sirhung

    Now that I think of it, it was a waste of 3 months of my life. The only useful thing taught to me, was field week which consists of learning about your m16, swim week, and crucible, the simulation of war. Everything else was pure waste of just learning how to walk, talk, and move. Only masochists would love this crap.
