Not really. I like it when they explain to me what and why they are doing something.
The problem with these ideas is that the polish is way too thick. Your nails will not look good with the end results. I do this to my own nails, however, I have to work much harder to keep the polish thin and curable. It looks good in the video, but you will not like the results for everyday wear. Not to mention most gel polish will not cure all the way at this thickness. Don't be fooled with these "5-minute hacks. Most can be debunked. Just enjoy the video if it relaxes you to do so.
I do these same hacks with regular polidh as well.. it works.. been doing for msny years

I do nails for 30yrs an agree, way to much polish to cure! Pretty but impossible, with that much polish or gel polish ✌🏼

okay ..newbie here.. when you did the one (like the orange) and it looks like you put a drop of topcoat on each part .. do you cure that then put an additional topcoat onto that? like the powdered glitter one?
When you are doing the 'water droplets' you should use a no-wipe gel topcoat which would not require any further cover.

Gel doesn’t dry like nail varnish you have to cure it so you can work with it as long as you need to x

Is it have to be gel polish or regular polish ?
Needs to be gel. Nail Polish dries too quickly so you won't get the same result. Gel has a high viscosity so you can manipulate it much more, as well as layer and pull it like the fire design, unlike regular polish.
@@operachef1 how does one get started with gel polish? Is it suitable for just at home polish on shorter nails? Is there a particular brand or resource that’s ideal for gel? I have no clue where to start

Are these definitely not possible with regular nail varnish?
You can do most of these with regular polish, and you don't need to apply it so thickly. I learned a lot of these techniques when I went to school to be a nail tech, and back then gel polish wasn't a thing. You'll want to work with a wet base coat - you can use anything from a toothpick to a pin to drag the other colors to make the designs. You can even use acrylic paint and a very fine brush.
