Agreed; I can't stand too much activity on nails--its SO obnoxious!! Friggin 4 inch long nails with rainbows and glitter and cheetah print on the next one, and flowers and little rhinestones and omg, do you remember pierced nails?! Simple, classy. Perfect. Mine right now are white with minimal silver glitter/clear coat, with my ring finger just plain grey. Toes match, of course. Very tasteful...really, even the glitter clear coat is a little much for me, but a small amount can be the perfect touch... Kinda like you can tell alot about a guy by how his shoes look? Same goes for girls--you can tell alot about the level of maturity & class in a woman by how her nails look.

Dry hair, split ends and exaggerated eyebrows are more obnoxious than someone’s nails.

you can also just use floss I guess
you can take tape and cut it in thin little pieces and put it on your nail :D
@@madisoncochran6650 but since floss isn’t sticky it would just fall off I’d say the tape method works best. If you use tape try washi tape ( paper based tape ) it sticks on better and is more flexible when applied onto skin

I think I'm in love...Thank you soooo much for covering the minimalist and geometric designs. Can't justify $100 mani and pedi anymore and that's without designs no one in my city can get the finish right for the simplest design...now I have enough info to do my own and...produce the designs I've always wanted.

Just Wow!!!!!! On a total whim I just bought a nail kit on Amazon today so I could paint my own nails. These are such great easy ideas!! I just got my nail kit today and I have 4 designs picked that I am going to try first. I think this is the most fun I have had since the pandemic!! Doing shit on my own flipping love it! Natural nail important to me and really appreciate finding this page. So helpful for a beginner

There’s a video from cutepolish about top coats, it’s called “how to avoid smudging your nail art”, it gives you tips on how much polish to use and how long to wait and stuff, hopefully it helps 🙂

Gel polish not regular!
They use a UV light which helps it instantly dry
Sucks when I can’t use gel because I have a allergy to it but love nail art. The struggle.
If you’re using regular nail polish (not gel with a UV lamp) get you a quick-drying top coat. I used to love Seche Vite’ but recently i came across one from Orly called Sec N’ Dry that might even be faster than Seche. Seriously, you can glob a thick layer on (like if you putting it over loose glitter and you don’t want texture? That kinda thick) and it will be dry in less than 5 mins.

I am only 10 mins in to the video and it’s super inspiring. I love the colors you used! These are great ideas to cover up a smudged nail too. I am not a professional, actually more of a beginner than anything and I found the designs to be easy to do. Like anything, there is a learning curve to getting them perfect. Practice and patience will come in handy. 😊

Thank you very much. This is one of the best videos I‘ve seen in TH-cam for nail inspirations. Most of the nailarts are way to extreme and the nails are too long for work and everyday life. Your designs are simple, manageable and also good for long and short nails. I really need to buy this tape.

I've been trying the nail tape for years it NEVER comes out straight
what you have to do is apply your nail polish then a top coat let it fully dry then add you tape and smooth it with a dotting tool. after that apply your next step and remove it right after becuse you dont want it to dry
For the tape DONT wait for the polish to dry.Take it off IMMEDIATELY after you apply polish
