Watched the javelin and mustang show yesterday. I had 2. 1 74 amx and a 71 set. They are very cool cars. The 74 I rolled 4 times side to side. It was destroyed. Had 11 stitches in my head from windshield.
Luv her! Unlike some other female hosts who try too hard to let folks know that they know motors and racing, she is just one of the guys who works with them and puts her two cents in without having to be a drama queen about it. She just goes, does it and has a ball! Her dad raised her right!

Dear MotorTrend, STOP USING SCRIPTS!!!! It completely ruins the feel of your shows. You try to make them feel organic, but it's not. This is why car content on YT is so much better.

This is equality and gender neutral, not doing drugs at the club until 35 and then wonder why men don't look at their way and then rage militant feminism. A Chevy on the Cover, two times in a row!?!? I just MIGHT Renew my subscription! But after reading a few partial entries I'm not so sure, because I am incredibly tired of writers who always seem to throw in their bias against Chevy!
It was the oil from the Camaro that messed the last pass. Propably broke and axle or diff as all power was on one wheel as other side was glued to the track and other side sled on the oil.
Awesome video! Alex is the real deal. She doesn't need to memorize a script that someone else penned for her to make it look like she knows what she's talking about. Her knowledge and skill level show that she grew up wrenching and racing. It's in her blood! Hopefully Alex and all of the professional people that are involved in the production of these kind of videos will make absolutely certain that her safety belts are securely fastened before she takes off to learn about drifting a Z car. (around the 08:30 minute mark) WEAR YOUR BELTS!!! I'm just sayin'
@@kyleteal5888 drag racing and nascar cost more per year than the btcc, v8 supercars, Europe touring car series and the ustcc. The only exception is f1 that is more expensive. Even at a grass roots level it's cheaper. 5k will get you a well set up and caged track car, if you are spending 5k on a drag car you are not going to be having fun or be competitive.
As I understand it, a dirt modified runs about $45,000 for a Tri-state racer, and a GT1 or 2 (similar to V8 Supers) cost closer to the price of a monster truck 75 to 250 thousand dollars. And here in the states you have to drive over 6 hours for 1 Road course around here. That Tri-state dirt car has closer to 40 tracks in that area.
The participants all got the same task, time frame, besides given the same engine/transmission and economical support, but took different approaches. Alex and dad decided it would be possible to build an "perfect" car for the job from scratch, if they worked their as.. off. Alex always go max effort when she decides to take part in something, she's racing because she want's to win or reach personal goals.
I have watched season 10 of Hot Rod Garage 3 times now because of how much fun Alex and Lucky have made it! I’ve always liked Lucky because he knows so much but he shares that and not be like look at me I know more than you!!! And I have followed Ales and Dennis for a while now and watched them build that 55 Chevy from ground up! It’s so impressive it’s nuts! Dennis, in my mind, is a Master car builder!!! So congratulations to them Alex and Dennis for their success! And thanks Lucky for making Hot Rod Garage an absolute pleasure to watch!!!

As an old racer, I love someone who will try anything. I did drag, stock car and car shows, customizing was a blast, but Alex makes things look easy!! Great video!
