Happy outbreak day!I have a few issues with season one, and I'm very scared about season 2. But I'll still watch it, and get the steelbook Blu-ray as I did for season one haha
I'm so excited! I hope you don't have as many issues with season 2 and that you enjoy it when it happens! Even if there are issues though, we still have the games! 😊
@@AshJones2610 absolutely! But also there's things I preferred in the series! Sam and Henry fir example, also, I LOVED Sarah, EP 1 and 2 introduction scenes, and many things!
Sam and Henry was one of the best parts of the series!! It's actually the part I think about the most from it. And of course, Sarah! I really want to see how the porch scene turns out and also the scene between Ellie and Dina in the farmhouse (don't want to say too much in case of spoilers for others haha)
@@AshJones2610 totally, the 'hand on the bite' scene made me tear up. Oh yes! But I guess my biggest issues with it are that, first I think Ellie is way too aggressive, and Joel isn't enough. Of course it's subjective but it doesn't make me feel the same way I feel about the original characters. And the biggest issue to me, is that we don't spend enough time with them. The strength of the Last of Us to me is the fact that it's a video game. You spend dozens of hours with them, you see them learn about eachother, and you learn about them, and it's even stronger with Part 2. Part 2 FORCES you to do things, and you spend time being angry, just like it wants you too, in a way that's barely been done before. A way that nothing else can do, exept being the actor of it, as you hold the controller. Of course it's very subjective. And again, I really liked season one and I can't wait for season 2! But what I consider issues are too big to me to fully enjoy it. I wish Part 1 had a few more episodes. It feels rushed, and sometimes it's focusing on things I don't care about. (The lady looking for Henry and Sam for example). But again, you know it, I love The Last of Us. 😂
That scene had me crying even the next day, same with the Bill episode! Yeah, I can agree with that - it's like they have switched sort of in the series than in the game. But I think I liked the tv version of Joel how he was little softer - especially with Ellie very early on, he warmed up to her quicker and he didn't snap as much at her (or that's how I perceived it) But it's very true that we don't spend a lot of time with them, and the game is way more immersive so we have a better connection to the story and the characters - we are them, but with the series, we're just spectators. Which is why I'll always prefer the games Yes, that character looking for Henry and Sam, she didn't really add much to the story at all! In fact, it would have been cool if we saw Ish's back story from the notes in the sewers instead of that lady as it's something we would have recognised - but I dunno how they would fit that in. So I hope Catherine O'Hara's character doesn't end up being the same and she actually brings something to the plot. Yes, me too, always!
G'day Ashley , Happy outbeak day , lets all hope we don't become Zombies 🧟♂️ 🧟♀️ , jolly good day to one and all , if i may i like the new look is good 😊
If THAT SCENE happens super early in the season just to appease gamers, there will be a huge drop in viewership from TV audiences who love Pedro Pascal. It’s frustrating, but it’s true. You have to have those fans who just watch the TV show to want to continue the show after IT. HAPPENS. I’m sure HBO and the creators know this, and they’ll act accordingly. I could see that scene coming in the 3rd episode, maybe not episode 1. This is TV, it’s a different medium-gamers will have to accept that they have to cater to both gamers and non-gamers.
The trailer usually just shows the first episode. So I would say they are killing off Joel right away. When you see Ellie screaming she is being held down while Joel is being beaten. That is like the game when Ellie is face down watching Joel
I know there are a lot of rumors floating around and all kind of talk, I did read an article recently saying that based on the number of episodes in season two Joel’s death scene will probably be about four episodes in.
The music at 1:39 is from THAT scene in the game. Already haunting.
I really hope that music is gonna be in THAT scene in the show too, it's such a fantastic oppressive sound.
I think Bella was amazing in the first season. This season is definitely going to put their skills to the test.
Agreed! A lot heavier stuff this season, so I hope they can do it justice!
Such an amazing trailer... that's what I call a teaser. This season is going to wreck me...
I love the last of us I reacted to the trailer on a stream I’m happy others are seeing the story

the show is very good at adding extra content so the scene with ellie screaming could be a dream?
Could be!
That trailer was indeed perfect, i love how they teased Abby without showing too much of her character. It's gonna be so good, can't wait.
If that shot of Bella screaming is from the PGA tour scene...jeez we might not survive this one yall..
you are so real..wow
Oh my god that's very insane and brutal 😱💥
I'm shock that guy Isaac torture that scar blood 😮😮😮

Nice réaction 😊

You're right, and I'd be pretty shocked if they put it in episode one
I loved these 2 videogames (never watched the tv serie yet) and with this trailer, i'm afraid to watch it because so many things happen.
It really is worth the watch if you ever decide to!
They should have recast Ellie, Bells is rubbish
Ah its a shame you don't like her as Ellie, I think she's doing great!
