I have a 1985 Yanmar 18 hp 3cyll diesel tractor it looks just like that, xcept two wheel drive. That is the best little tractor, we have a 48" belly finish cut pto driven mower deck & turf tires, its been flooded twice with no damage, has a serious case of industrial disease, came through no problems, we used to go through riding mowers every 5 yrs or so for our 3 acres wear them right out. This thing is indestructible. Really nice job on the restore.

That 750 would be an awesome little tractor to own. It gives an idea of what tractor I would like to own.

You did a very nice job fixing and restoring things back to factory. I didn't have any mouse nest in mine but I did the same as you pulling the tank, replacing all fuel lines and getting everything loosened up and working correctly. It wasn't needed but I put a clear fuel filter right below the injection pump while fixing things up. Glad to see you used Corbin clamps on the lines. The brakes were freezing up but they were easy to pull apart and get working like new again. Put new fuel filter bowl and the little tank by the valve cover. Adjusted valves and changed all fluids and thermostat. Mine has power steering so it has the hydraulic filter by the rear axle. Now I'm putting all hoses on the 67 loader. It's not the fastest, easiest to use tractor on my farm but it's built to last. Mine has turf tires and I found new chains for the front tires for $2 at a yard sale. Fit perfect. 7 foot rear blade works great on the snow. I do have the 5 front weights too. Yes, put a better oil filter on. I use NAPA Gold. A great part supplier is Hoye Tractor. com.. Hope you keep and enjoy that nice tractor on the farm. Oppps, time to listen to my President. Yeaaaaa.

We just bought an '85 850 4x4 with power steering and a loader. It was left outside its entire life and was beat on, but we just finished replacing all the oils/fluids and filters and fixed some wiring (a few lights didn't work). Everything mechanical/electrical is 100% now, but two things are still on our list to fix or replace: the grille (headlights work, but it looks like the grille was tortured) and the vertical exhaust (has holes in it). Can't find a source for either. We'll run it as is, but it'd be nicer if those two things were replaced.

Unreal!!!! What a nice find. I hope that after all the repairs that you are still money ahead. It looks nice and since you brought everything up to date, it should last a long time. My Mom is 88 and recently I moved in to help her. She has a John Deere 2305 and it is about 16 years old. It has only 100 hours on it but l put another 50 hours on it this last summer. She bought it for my Dad before he died and it sat a long time not being used.

Nice to see someone restoring these. It was a lot of work but now you've got something. I would recommend using an acetylene torch with a rosebud tip to heat any rusted threaded areas etc. They often can be turned by hand afterward. Also, with heat you can straighten the weight bracket and then weld a piece to reinforce it. How much did you have to pay for this?

Nice Job. Tractor looks great. Curious what type paint you used. Rattle can or shot out of a spray gun. I just bought an 850 that's spent most of it's life stored outside and needs some paint work.

Do you know what aftermarket seat is on your 750 tractor? I tried a vevor brand seat and i sit so high my head is above the ROPS. Also do you have any issue with the seat springs being super soft?
