Discovering my Grandpa's Old Slide Film Projector

We recently got a hold of our grandpa's old slide film projector and we wanted to show you how awesome the viewing process is. This antique projector is still working and in great condition - what an incredible experience.

I am interested in knowing more about slide film, when projected on a clear plain wall with the curtains closed and the lights turned off, what aspect ratio are the photos displayed on the wall when using a slide projector.

Thanks for sharing this. I just got one with the same model number and is still waiting for the slide mount to arrive. Does the halogen lamp make the projected slide warmer than the digitally scanned ones?

Cheers H W! The lamp definitely gets hot after some time. Not sure if it's warmer for the digitally scanned vs. slides, but it gets hot after about 15 minutes or so.

@@Filtergrade Thanks for replying. Mine does get hot instantly too lol. The halogen lamp's light is too yellow compared to the solid white. Are your projected slides appearing to have some yellow tint on lighter and cooler colored regions (e.g. light blue)?

@@bruker400 No problem, glad to hear about your experiences too it's interesting. Very similar here as well! I think it's a bit too yellow, and oftentimes hard to see unless it's completely dark.
