    Aldi has some amazinggggg choclate and im not talking about snickers or knock off from popular US brands. They have chocolate from all over the world mostly europe and they are very rich and tasty, brands i never heard of

    • @BlessedJess

      YES!!!!! I so agree! Their chocolate is the best ever!

      Their hazelnut spread is better than nutella, too. I stopped buying it after i tried that one. Goodbye separated oils!

    • @macmacox
      @macmacox 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      sorry I've tried a few of the Aldi chocolate and while good (better than Lindt IMO) they don't hold a candle to El Rey or even Velarhona
      I never liked Nutella.. 'hazelnut' spread? there's barely any hazelnuts in it.

    • @iuliapoe2841
      @iuliapoe2841 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      macmacox Sure, a 3$ chocolate isn't going to taste premium, but when the alternative is Hershey's, i'll take it. I prefer Choceur to Lindt too.

    Those so called off-brand products are typically made by the same manufacturers as the premium brands. It's the secret of success for ALDI. Manufacturers can max their production capacities (with slightly changed recipes) and sell their products for lower prices under another name without damaging their original brand's recognition.

    My husband is a truck driver. Been trucking for 30 years. He's told me of so many times he picks up name brands at one end of the company and off brand at the other end. Same thing! Even with dog food. Lots of food products are sold this way. You are paying for the label, labor costs, and greedy companies. Aldi's has so many ways to cut down on costs and passes the savings on to consumers. With food costs so high, I see a great future for Aldi's. Go Aldi's!

    Aldis kicks butt! At my local Aldis milk is $1.00 a gallon, bread is 79 cents and eggs are 43 cents a dozen. And they taste awesome. If you have a Aldis and don’t shop there you’re just throwing money away.

      Been shopping at Aldi's for 30 years. They have improved soooooo much. I buy just 1 of a product to see if I like it. Love that they have so many organic products now. Can foods have organic choices also. The produce is really good. I buy the jasmine rice in 5 lbs.bag. It says that it comes from Thailand. With all the plastic rice being sold,mostly from China I would like to know if I can trust this rice. I save so much on groceries at Aldi's store. It's my favorite store. I live on 840.00 a month disability so every dollar counts. I see the prices at Walmart and other stores. Can't touch that. If you don't shop at Aldi's, you are throwing money away.

      mpmarvin999 ....I totally understand your comment since you added the fact that Aldi is an overall great value store. But never underestimate that many times people will think differently if a food product is very expensive but doesn't taste "great". Rich people often times then just say "its an acquired taste that takes getting used to". Too funny! And guess how outrageous the profit margins are on these products! "Can you please pass the Grey Poupon".....your dam right I'll pass on that. Gotta love sales and marketing....easy money!

    • @BlessedJess

    The real difference is that aldi isnt chock full of chemicals and sugars and preservatives... and the American brands are basically nothing but chemicals... and we are so use to eating all of those chemicals that when we eat things without the chemicals we can taste the lack of them... we have been conditioned to enjoy the chemicals... it's truly sad that the FDA let's the food companies get away with so much... 😥

    That was absolutely so enjoyable, adorable couple. I initially started taking my elderly mother to Aldi (to save her money) to do her groceries. At first I was so silly and stuck up and thought oh no I am not buying anything here. But as time went by, I too now enjoy sooooooooooo many items from Aldi, its cheaper, but the quality in most items is very very good and sometimes nicer than the name brands. I thoroughly recommend Aldi to people, give it a go and at the same time save money! So many of us have hang-ups because if its cheaper it must be inferior, but tbh its best to not think that way and give things a go.

I haven't even watched it yet and already know what it will talk about.....Aldi offers very good quality food. I have done years of research on sales, psychology, business and more. I love Aldis, when it first came to our area about 12 years ago I refused to go there. The atmosphere was so bizarre to me lol. I used to think dear God what the heck are in those products that they can sell them at such a low cost. I kept hearing you have to go to Aldis , you have to just try it, OMG I can't believe you won't even go in to the store. Lol I finally did give in but it took me 2 years b4 I made the leap. I can't tell you what a dumbass I was for putting it off for so damn long. I laugh because in my mind I thought though I am NOT wealthy, I was concerned that if I ran into someone that may know me would think, awww she must be low on funds and can't shop at the Huge Giant Eagle directly across the street. Now I laugh bcz I was an idiot for caring and also bcz the "Rich" people are the ones pulling up in there Cadillacs and Lincolns all shopping at Aldis. I am a HUGE fan of Aldis and tell others who say the same idiotic things I used to say just how great this place is.I can tell you one thing I have done the taste test on "Spagettios " name brand "Beefaroni" name Brand as opposed to the Aldis and hands down ALDIS was the winner bcz the name brands had a watery consistency and it was more like soup, the Aldis brand was more like a pasta. It's a great place for a family with growing kids!!

      I was the same way! The first time I walked in I felt like I was in the twilight zone! The clientele was a little rough and I felt like I was slumming. Now I don’t care who sees me. The other day I ran into my doctor! Lol😂

    I love Aldi, so I thoroughly enjoyed this tasting. I personally have found I like Aldi brand on any product I have tried with the exception of the mini wheats cereal. I like the Aldi well enough that the difference in price would be my purchasing choice. If you haven't tried the mandarin oranges in the can they are superb. The little segments are so plump, no stragley bits in the can, not overly sweet....as you can see I think they are the best. All the fruit and veggies I have tried I would use over name brand also the frozen vegetables are just as great. I was a loyal Kroger brand customer but I have switched to Aldis. Thank you for sharing this and I just subscribed to your channel. Y'all have a Blessed day.

    Love your vid! ❤️ We live in a very small town with basically nowhere to shop however we do have an ALDI which I love. I don't care for the knockoff Doritos but I love the potato chips! Sooo much cheaper! They also have a great assortment of cheeses. I use all of their soups & canned goods too!

      @CHILIDOUG, I bought the Clancy brand corn chips last week and I like them better than Fritos. Clancy was not as salty. I know Fritos has a less salty chip but not all stores carry them. Plus Aldi's Clancy brand was less expensive.

      Marla Bullard ....So many people like you and I save money (up to 50% off!) by simply having an open mind. It truly amazes me how blind taste tests keep proving peoples "taste buds" can be tricked by a popular brand names. That's why its called "blind" taste test comparison! Wine is a perfect example due to the huge amount of money a person will waste. Taste tests have proved people will choose a $5 dollar bottle of wine over a $30 fancy label brand. That a 600% savings difference! Just imagine this savings over a ten year period for disposable income slaves to image marketing strategies.

    In my recent visit to the US (transit stop in Charlotte) I noticed quite a lot of differences between different grocery store "culture" in the EU (especially German and Dutch stores) and stores in the US.
    Here in Germany there is only a small number of very large shops (e.g. Walmart got bullied out of competition here about ten years ago), a decent amount of rather expensive super markets and a whole lot of ALDI like shops (ALDI north and south, LIDL and some others). Most German stores offer a decent variety of "original" and store-owned cheaper food brands, so everybody has the option to choose.
    Another interesting thing I've noticed is that food is generally cheaper in Germany while sodas/pops/softdrinks or whatever you wanna call those sugary drinks are (a lot) cheaper in the US and come in larger bottles aswell (the maximum size for Coke here is 2l e.g. but usually they sell it in sizes of 1 or 1,5l).
