On one visit a guy picked up a new Gt2, it must have been a special order as the car was black, had a roll cage and had what looked like a special Porsche child seat mounted in the back. The thing was there were no back seats fitted, just the kids seat central mounted. This was the mid 90’s and at that time the Audi showroom in Unter den Linten has a concept Audi TT on display too.

Japanese numberplates are square. I doubt the car was shipped to Japan with that rear bumper. And from personal experience as a Porsche/Ferrari owner in Tokyo, that Mizwa sticker looks a little knackered for the mileage... (The stickers around the Mizwa sticker at 0:37 are oil changes. the top with Wako's oil seems to be the last at 39,873km.)
Pants of regret that you sold yours all those years ago Chris? For others there were plenty of great driving shots in Harris’ GT Porsche magazine articles and detailed info about the ownership experience. I will say that Chris has owned some amazing metal since, likely not possible if the GT2 didn’t move on..

My dad had an early 3.3 turbo with 4 speed gearbox. Silver with RUF alloys. Very fast car.
I’ve had a 1/18 scale of this on the shelf for close to 25 years. Still makes me smile every time i look at it. The style is second to none.
