Using analogies like Alex I can say that playing the London System is like wearing a suit of armor to a pillow fight. You might be overprepared, but at least you won't get caught off guard.
@@shubhamkumarmajhi8943I’ll totally agree if that’s where dude is coming from?!? I’m a touch confused, in two minds even, is it like that or is it a compliment? Or am I reading too much into it🤷🏻more than likely! But yeah shit go if he’s serious, for sure
I'm loving the video's and trying to go back over and study what you are teaching. Recovering from a losing streak so needed help getting mindset back on track, thanks.
This new format is perfect. I was struggling to understand the different lines Alex would address in his videos but with the pictures of the positions, i easily remember certain positions from my previous games. Thanks Alex🎉🎉
Thank you Alex! This video in a new style with a classification before the beginning and with the main conclusions after is even more understandable and educational. Make more videos like this please! 👍
30:00 in. Premoves are so brutal. That guy was like he has 11 seconds absolutely no way I loose this game. 20 moves and only 8 seconds later he gets mated. So crazy
I have grinded your chessable course, but this was so helpful to understand the "Why" and the plans. Great, great video. I bought your full course btw, including the video. Highly recommended.
And also... those questions as to whether I do c3/c4, and pull the ds bishop back or accept the trade. I personally don't think Chessable is going anywhere, I encourage you to make more/build on it. There is even no family discounts for it, unfortunately. But it does force families to buy more product for their kids at full price. Do you have a positional course in the works? I really like your division into ELO sections of Silman Endgame... I think the 1400-1600 she's probably be broken into two sections or maybe more. But great concept. If positional chess could be done the same it would be good. I have tried CM Can Kabadayi's course on chess crime and punishment, perhaps something similar would be good but with an ELO divisional approach.
Thank you Alex for your videos. Thanks to you I found my 2 openings for black and white and black. Even I watching seems like same opening every time , but because this is chess with million possibilities, it becomes learning something new . I hope you salient get bored making this videos, thank you for content 🙏
"typical low elo line" and "he just pressing random buttons" loolol hahaha Alex is funny af lol 30:13 "this setup is little bit like crocodile.... " lol
This was awesome!! I was under the impression that multiple games with 92+ accuracy would indicate cheating… but this was great chess with easy to understand explanations!!!
Very instructive, esp with the takeaways at the end! I kind of miss the wooden spoon, but at least the shirt is all the buzz. (Sorry, I couldn't resist).
omGAHHDDD yeeeeshhhj, loving how you secretly tell us all about playing against the englund gambit. I solo play London as white and is always so confusing seeing that initial E5 from black
Hey Alex, I play the Jobava... sometimes I play Bf4 before Nc3 to see if my opp will play Nc6.. Are there times when I should consider transposing to a normal London in the first couple moves? Which ideas appear in both openings?
Really love your london system and caro-kann simplified on chessable sir! As a newer player your a hero to me!! Would you ever consider making a course against d4 as black? I'm not sure what to do there currently.
Thank you for your youtube lessons videos. I have never enjoyed learning an opening before watching your videos. I remember trying to learn chess openings when I was a kid (before youtube existed) and the book I was referring to really confused me and took away my interest in chess. Anyways I'm sure you are a great help to all new chess enthusiasts ! 😊
Got a 7 move checkmate with the fantasy variation from the caro today. Game review gave my opponent a 250 I died laughing never seen someone get that low it gave me 1650 and about 91% accuracy. First time I got it off cause I might have only got the fantasy 2 other times but they defended
I recently had an opponent who systematically moved every pawn up one square to open. I just tried to develope my pieces. I found it extremely frustrating and lost the game. How should I have approached that opening?
seems like White = London, black = Caro-Kann nowadays. I do get the appeal of London system for beginners, because it closes the game and gives time to think and react. Playing low Elo blitz, I found it annoying because lots of people go for trades when in doubt and you're left with a center closed by pawns and a few seconds on the clock :)
Waitlist for my upcoming Jobava course: alexbanzea.com

Until your opponent plays KID... Or Dutch... Or 1...c5 😅
Or like Chuck Norris fighting a koala
@@dsaboAll of those lines are covered in the course.
It’s literally easier to become a rocket scientist than to study all the lines from Alex’s London chessable course. I’ve been trying for a year now.
Your mean bro
It's true. I became a rocket scientist in under a year.
18 months now and I'm about 3/4 through

1 hour of Alex explaining chess lets goo! 🔥
I was literally just searching for a (non Jobava) London System video and only a few minutes before you've posted this - thanks!

So nice to watch tese games, thank you for taking the time!
They key takes aways , summaries and the way you organize the material is simply unmatched. Great material.
Thanks Alex the key takeaways section at the end was particularly helpful!

i took initiative to learn London today and found this awesome content, thanks bro
Key Notes at the end are awsome man!
Please keep them up!
I don't watch you as much as I used to, but I'm really glad to see your numbers doing good and going up! 😊

I appreciate the notes at the end, that really helps :) Especially at game 6! :D
I love how he tells you the key point before going into the game. Very instructive.
thank you so much alex. this is exactly what i was waiting for.
Amazing video as usual Alex! Also, that preview view on 0:27 is friggin' amazing! I hope you keep doing that in future videos too. :D
Thanks Alex Banzea for guide on london system❤
😂😂 “Guy’s licking buttons “ 🤣😂 Another great video and lesson !
Alex favourite lines ''Londooon sytummm'' and ''Carooo khhann''
This video is about to blow up Alexy
Love love love your videos! Your analogies & accent are just too adorable 🙃
really appreciate the constant improvement in quality of the vids man

I have your course on Chessable, just discovered your channel. I could watch 100 hours of this.
You excitement over the bishop placement got me excited
"typical low elo line" and "he just pressing random buttons" loolol hahaha Alex is funny af lol

Hi Alex - back to your roots, thanks for the chess content simply the best!
I am a newer chess player, and these videos have been insanely helpful. You are a great teacher, thanks for sharing ❤
I really like the text summary you provided at the end of the video ❤
Thx a lot Alex ! Greetings from Tunisia
Game 5 had a BEAUTIFUL checkmate with the encroaching queen side pawns.
Great new format, Banzeeeeus.
Alex is really good at chess. His analysis are different and interesting. I always learn a lot watching him play.
Thanks for the greatness!
I loveu coach..i really appreciate the london play..since it was my opening
This was a life changer, I was destroyed by the hippo structure omg
not underestimate animals!
Alex, your videos just keep getting better!
1:52 why does he have to take the queen tho?
1:42 on your clock, instead of Rd3, did you consider Qc2, attacking the knight and creating a weakness? If not, why did you reject it?
Awesome! Missed your London System videos.
Thanks for another great video. I love your educational videos!
The first game shows a lot creative playing ideas. Would not have been able to create it and hope, that I remember to let open the rook line.
"it was at this moment he knew he f*cked up"😭😭😂

"The bishop is staying on TikTok" is my favourite line ever
In Game 6, on move 16, wasn’t Nf6 mate? King only had one move (e7) but that was defended by the knight on d5
knight also move backwards! (e5 knight could capture me)
@@AlexBanzea ahh yes, of course 🙈
YEEES, A NEW VIDEOOOO!!!
omGAHHDDD yeeeeshhhj, loving how you secretly tell us all about playing against the englund gambit. I solo play London as white and is always so confusing seeing that initial E5 from black
Glorious OG London❤
I LOVE ALEX BANZEA
This was really well explained! But can you also make a similar one for Joe Bava London as well please!!!!!
Hey Alex, I play the Jobava... sometimes I play Bf4 before Nc3 to see if my opp will play Nc6.. Are there times when I should consider transposing to a normal London in the first couple moves? Which ideas appear in both openings?
Aside from taking the center, what are some ideas for when black goes traditional Hippo with fianchettoed bishops and knights on d7 and e7?
Common sense practical teaching. Wonderful stuff.
The bishop is staying on TikTok
I mean, where else can you get these types of quips? Gold!!
Really love your london system and caro-kann simplified on chessable sir! As a newer player your a hero to me!!
Would you ever consider making a course against d4 as black? I'm not sure what to do there currently.
Sensei!!! 1250 before your London lessons. 6/9 2024 After YOU Sensei 1650 Li Chess. THANK YOU!!! You are the right teacher for me!!!
Question Sensei?? why you do not put the queen behind the bishop and attack the Knight on H7?? twice I notice you never consider it. Why?
Nevermind.
Need more!
Thank you. Loved this ❤
So instructive! Keep em coming! And who do you think who would win the candidates?
Fantastic video Alex. Clear and useful concepts 💪🔥
FWIW In English we use the phrase walking on on our tippy toes to suggest we want to move quietly.
Awesome new opening breakdown Alex :D
I prefer the Jobaba, but I do like some of the ideas here which are shared with both openings.
Isn't third game transposed to exchange caro kann with really bad white bishop for black. Looks like just a bad option for bad
19:34 is rook g4 a good option too for white?
You are a gem, sir
Alex can you do a video on the Scandinavian? Please and thank you.
yo what if they move nf6 and qb6 against london??
Welcome Back to another brillant Video! ❤
hey Alex on 18:44 you could have pinned his queen with rook g4.
Good point, I missed that
It was at this moment...he knew he was making the video. 👍
Where do u go for your Jobava class?
45:15... "the last drop makes the cup run over"
Can you show us how to play Alireza’s London line
+1 I would like to see it too.

Same here. 7 move checkmate, I've only faced the fantasy twice (ELO around 1100)
I recently had an opponent who systematically moved every pawn up one square to open. I just tried to develope my pieces. I found it extremely frustrating and lost the game. How should I have approached that opening?
Like game 4
I switched to the Jobava but maybe I should play both
I actually plays the londen exactly like u did ❤
I love you IM Alex banzea🥺🥺🥺
No you're not Alex Banzea
Hello IM can you post the pgn of these games?
The bishop is just staying on tiktok 🤣
At this point I have sleep insomnia from all the London theory
Cover the Bird’s opening!
