I originally didn't want to upload the whole video, and instead started work on just a Quickie of it, but then I found myself having edited the whole thing. WOOPS
The mods in use are ACE, ACRE, STHUD, STMovement, ST ACRE Volume Control, ST Littlebird Enhancement, ST Map Autobrightness, ST Bunnyhop. The soundmod in this video is ACEX_SM. The terrain in this video is Celle2. This mission was played against AI.

Wietze (Landkreis Celle) is the actual town where we used to do military exercises when I was serving in the Bundeswehr. I remember a crossing of the river Aller by inflatable assault boats in the night very well. They called the exercise "Nasser Bär" (= wet bear). I (as a conscript) was accompanying our battallion commander as the radio guy and was proud and excited like f... Good times ...
I lost it at the end. Easily one of the best missions you guys have, do stuff like this more often.

This is by far my favorite Shack Tac video thus far. It's like watching a movie, you have suspense, comedy, the loss of friends, a daring duet and an amazing ending. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time, and I was mortified when Oxocube died. Seeing you alone the only thing I could do was watch the sky, and see it go from day to night. Just makes me wonder, how long did you stay there, alone and in the dark.

I saw part of your plight earlier in Taconic's video, and I couldn't wait for you to upload your slow descent into madness as you were left cold and alone after Oxocube died. It's a shame you weren't able to witness the terrifying extract of the second half of Kilo Squad from which only five men survived. I'm not sure who will have more nightmares.

I love how you can actually see and hear the slow decent into madness as time goes on, and when the great Oxocube dies you can actually feel the sadness and anger in Kilroy :(

Likely to be TrackIR, a headset attachment which is tracked in a similar way to Kinect for Xbox can track motion. It tracks RL head movement and moves your characters head accordingly (although more exaggerated), so that you can freely look around in game without moving your entire body. It's very useful for situational awareness, and extremely useful for piloting situations.

Also the chopper he was signaling with the gun he did not have never existed. Oxocube went along with the idea of an evacuation chopper because he was both nervous that CHKilroy had lost it and he was willing to cling to any hope he may have had.

holy crap that was like something that you'd see in a movie! to regular soldiers separate from their comrades then return, only to find out that their entire squad had been killed. The two men bond whilst under constant danger and then one man dies and the other goes slowly insane. Beautiful. Not mention the fact that an American and a Scouser is an amazing combination.
Kilroy I love how you honored your fallen comrades. Also when your boy died I could just hear how angry and depressed it made you feel. Kilroy when you were rocking back in forth were you just waiting to die?

i think the reason almost everyone died is you were all near the street, so when the heli blew it to shit it was devastating, and finally the few who lived were killed in the heli explosion

Maybe it's because it's another one of those nights when I get easily immersed, but this video totally drew me in. I was really nervous most of the time and Oxo's death felt devastating.
This would be a great movie. Two soldiers go off to examine an enemy humvee, only to have their squad attacked by an enemy helo. Upon return to the town, they find all comrades dead, as secondary explosions go off in the distance. The two soldiers now must survive an onslaught of soldiers as they try to signal for extraction. When one is killed, the other goes crazy. That would be a fantastic movie
That was one of the most entertaining footages I've seen from you. I cheered like a little girl when you shot down that helicopter, not knowing yet that you probably killed the rest of your team. Then shit got serious. This is some top quality movie script right here. Thanks for sharing!
