I dont blame him for disliking the career with the way dic/4kids was ran at the time, I would've turned to broadway or something better in the same situation. 4kids alone was horribly mishandled as a company(the one piece dub even being in their lineup) and even the english va for James from Pokemon had issue with the company.

Its common especially with properties that 4kids dubbed most dont come back. I think Mike Pollock is an exception since he did really like being a part of sonic stuff.

He's a master of theater on and off stage, he's so incredibly talented, dude! I love it! Props to him for giving us amazing performances with all of his characters! He's so cool! Falsettos was my first exposure to Rannells, so he'll always be Whizzer to me. That being said, all of these characters seem to have a lot in common with that particular role, so he definitely seems to be typecast. Regardless, he has undeniable talent when it comes to being these characters to life!
I highly and biasedly recommend Archies Weird Mysteries. Its one of the best interpretations of Archie comics and Rannells is a perfect well meaning but kind of clueless everyman.

He’s really good as Nightmare in Kirby right back at ya. He did three different voices for him. In episodes 1,9,&20 he has a deep booming voice while in episodes 14,40,&41 his voice is this slimy whispery voice that’s the best out of the three and the third voice is this high pitched Joker shriek voice in episodes 97,99,&100. The dvd version of episodes 97-100 are surprisingly dubbed over by the second voice he did. Either way you’d be shocked to hear him as all three of those voices
Oh my God I ADORE this man so much. I loved him first in The Book of the Mormon, then he also entranced me in Invincible. I absolutely HAVE to see Trolls Band Together, and I've NEVER wanted to watch Trolls. Anything for him though 🥺💓

I call it different flavors. Archie is ghost flavor and Gary is baking flavor. Veneer I wish we had more to know about him other than being pushed around by his sister. My only guess is singing and dancing but the movie doesn't go beyond that.
I have seen he was credited for that but I haven't found any direct clips or remember them. He kind of used a generic archie voice for most voice work then anyways so I can imagine what he sounds like for the most part.
Crazy thing is, I usually know Andrew Rannells in his 4Kids! roles like in Sonic X and One Piece along with Streex from Street Sharks but I'd never thought he had some roles in Adventure Time and that Archie's Weird Mysteries show that I never heard about too, which is cool.
Hes only Gary currently but now that hes been in at least this, maybe he'll be hired back for more roles. Also I highly recommend archies weird mysteries, its a fun mystery show with so much love and reference to old goofy B movies and them sort of going around like the scooby gang.
I hope alot of people cause its genuinely one of the best adaptations of archie to me and honestly just a fun show. I love the archie guy and his talents so much.

I have seen he was credited for that but I haven't found any direct clips or remember them. He kind of used a generic archie voice for most voice work then anyways so I can imagine what he sounds like for the most part.
He also was James in Pokémon live, he hated it tho
Crazy thing is, I usually know Andrew Rannells in his 4Kids! roles like in Sonic X and One Piece along with Streex from Street Sharks but I'd never thought he had some roles in Adventure Time and that Archie's Weird Mysteries show that I never heard about too, which is cool.
Hes only Gary currently but now that hes been in at least this, maybe he'll be hired back for more roles. Also I highly recommend archies weird mysteries, its a fun mystery show with so much love and reference to old goofy B movies and them sort of going around like the scooby gang.

Ive heard but I cant find clips of the 4kids OP dub to save my life. Also behindthevoiceactors has a clip of audio and he sounds like squeaky baby archie its funny. His range does not exist sometimes..
I’m gonna be completely honest, I wish they had gotten Prince Gumball’s original voice actor back.
I think he works for Gary, or at least to differentiate them between the original magical land and the town he lives in now.
