Nissan Patrol Injection Pump Controller (IPC)

I've disassembled, cleaned and tested a 35-year-old Nissan Patrol SD33T Injection Pump Controller to see how it works. In the future I plan to custom rewire it back to the car so it can turn itself off and use the start position of the pump for cold starts.

Hi, did you have any trouble lining up gears. I cleaned unit and put some electric grease on back of gears and now won’t stop, just keeps running even after I removed grease incase that was an issue.

No I didn't. Verify that the metal contacts of the board are clean and make good contact. The mechanism is really simple but if the limit contacts doesn't make good electric contact the thing won't stop

@@ianridgwell6031 I don't recall if the gears must be assembled in a specific position. Check the wiring just in case, I think plugging the wrong wires could make the controller spin non stop

What is this for my nissan have that but it’s not working

It controls the diesel pump between these three options: fuel cut off (turns off the engine), normal operation and fuel excess for cold starts.
