I've disassembled, cleaned and tested a 35-year-old Nissan Patrol SD33T Injection Pump Controller to see how it works. In the future I plan to custom rewire it back to the car so it can turn itself off and use the start position of the pump for cold starts.

Big difference with diff locks.
Suely the 3 rubber pins should do the job ? If it needs glue , they would come with a peel off self adhesive pad ? Epoxy ?? Try getting that off next time ! Great video showing how to locate the pad if needed, but . . . . . . . . .
The rubber pins are useless to lock the pad in place. You'll see that without glue the pad is really loose and prone to break again. Actually - as I said in another comment - my epoxy failed and the rubber pad was acting again as it was broken. Edit.: Also, now that I rewatched the video, you can see that some kind of adhesive has been used to fix the original pad in place from factory.

I just bought a pair to replace my broken pair. They are horribly desgined that has 3 dinky rubber strings to hold the pad very loosely.
Yes, it's mostly the glue what holds the pad in place. So make sure you use a good one
Hi, did you have any trouble lining up gears. I cleaned unit and put some electric grease on back of gears and now won’t stop, just keeps running even after I removed grease incase that was an issue.
No I didn't. Verify that the metal contacts of the board are clean and make good contact. The mechanism is really simple but if the limit contacts doesn't make good electric contact the thing won't stop

@@ianridgwell6031 I don't recall if the gears must be assembled in a specific position. Check the wiring just in case, I think plugging the wrong wires could make the controller spin non stop

Yes, otherwise the pad will be loose and could break easily again. Make sure you use a good glue, since mine have failed since (it was really old and cheap).
What is this for my nissan have that but it’s not working
It controls the diesel pump between these three options: fuel cut off (turns off the engine), normal operation and fuel excess for cold starts.

tampoco eran combates a muerte como nos hacen ver las pelis. Ten en cuenta lo que costaba entrenar a un gladiador, manutención, preparación, horas y horas para que pudiera morir en el primer combate? No. Podía pasar pero lo normal es que fueran combates en los que sólo 1 sobrevivía
