Hey Wood - Audio Engineer here and fan for a few years. The clarity and full range of your voice is SO much better in the new house with all that sound-proofing. I never thought the audio was BAD in the previous videos, it was standard TH-camr audio quality.... But now it sounds fantastic. Congrats on the new home and great work with the sound-proofing!
My wife is dealing with loss and Spiritfarer really helped her to explore her own feelings in a personal but less traumatic way. In addition, she finds it to be such a genuinely fun game that she describes as "Zen" Terraria with a beautiful story.
Spiritfarer is such a great game; it's been a while since I've played something with such stella writing. The way it tackles the subject matter is both nuanced and respectful. This game is worth more than a simple look; not only has the story got weight but the gameplay has a level of flow that's seen in some of the best platformers.
I am currently loving Spiritfarer but I have to take a break. Recently lost a furbaby so I'd probably bawl my eyes out when sending a spirit to the great beyond.

Eh, I liked it at first, but honestly I don’t want to grind JUST to get the story. I mean it’s literally the same few worlds then you have to do it all over again for the minimal dialog, it’s loosing my interest.

Wood, you should consider checking out/making a video about Hades. I got that a few days ago on the eShop and it's the only game I've been playing since then. It's massively addictive and super high quality.

I would really appreciate if you covered Cattails, it is a 2d pixel action roleplay where you play as a cat in 1 of 3 Domains. From what I know the switch was the only console to give it a chance. As well as the fact that the entire development team seems to be just one guy.

Honestly he's can have his opinion. I have played the demo of ori 1 and I liked it but it wasn't an instant but for me like hollow knight but it is definitely a really good game and I'll get it soon. I'm happy to have these small devs that do so well

FINALLY!!! Thank you for another eShop video!!! The only one I've been playing recently from this list is Spiritfarer, which is a beautiful, beautiful game. I got chills the first time I brought a spirit to the Everdoor -- and that's around ten hours into my playthrough. It's relaxing and melancholy, and is one of my top games for 2020. I'll probably play The Last Campfire next.

I loved hearing you gush about Ori and the Blind Forest/Will of the Wisps, because I totally agree - they are masterpieces and very near the top of my favourites list! Spiritfarer is absolutely stunning and I'm loving my time with it! A Short Hike is so good and wholesome, I played it on PC a long time ago. I got The Last Campfire on PC soon after release, and really enjoyed it! I played the Inmost demo on steam a while back, and it's on my wishlist. i got the last campfire off one of the eshop sales which put it down to 3.8€ which was great. i spent so many hours on it and even when the story is played through you can choose to redo certain puzzles and even get extra puzzles.
I've been loving Ori and the Blind Forest on the Switch. So beautiful and such amazing gameplay! Just have to finish it so I can play Will of the Wisps :)

Playing Spiritfarer via gamepass and it really is a fantastic game. I enjoy management sims and the game has wonderful storytelling. Worth a try. I didn't pay $30 for it, but it is worth that if you want the switch version.
I did the same thing and finished it last night! I only got a month of game pass though, so I had to say goodbye to the game too lol. I'll definitely want to buy the game sometime so I can replay it down the road.
I was somewhat expecting to see Bug Fables on this list, but instead I got some games to add to my wishlist. Always cool to see what gems hide in the eshop.
I love this type of videos!! There's a recent game that I think you would enjoy a lot, "Hades". Idk if it's available in your country but I hope so. I don't feel bad for Hello Games at all, they lied during interviews constantly and hyped the game up while saying it had all these features that it didn't actually have.
It was lame but I forgave them because they have made up for it more than anyone has ever made up for anything in history. They really outdid themselves in the end.
The “every anime ever” line made me instantly realize he’s never seen an anime that’s not a shounen. Which makes me really sad, but I love him anyways!
I LOVE SPIRITFARER. It's such a good game. I'm crying every time I need to take someone "to the ranch". Spending time in that beautiful world is truly awesome. BUT (technically) the game is not perfect. Framerate drops awfully in events, it glitches out the visuals from time to time and it kicked me quite a few times with an error screen. There are even occasions when dialogues glitch out or appear too late, finishing/starting tasks when you don't expect them to. Hope the studio patches up all the bugs, because it is really good therapeutic game.
As a Belgian, Stella Artois is a mystery to me. No one here would consider Stella as their favourite beer. It's a standard industrial beer. Yet, outside of our borders it is perhaps the best known - and least representative quality-wise - of "Belgian beer". If you like beer, do yourself a favour and look beyond Stella's marketing a seek out other Belgian options. There are litteraly thousands to chose from. Hope you enjoy!
Most bottleshops don't stock too many different beers. Stella is in every bottleshop and bar here in Australia, but to find other Belgian beer I would have to look harder. So it's just famous because of how common it is.

Especially when you consider how closely associated Belgium and beer are. I hope, one day when normalcy returns, you maybe travel here and get to bathe in the glorious heritage we possess! But what's the purpose of hunting the monsters anyway? Is there an overall objective for killing them? I don't want to spend hours upon hours hunting/fighting boss after boss, only for it to never amount to anything.

I played The Long Dark's open beta (never got around to the finished game) and I really loved it evenwithout any story. I wrote in the journal and made my own harrowingstory, lol. I need to finally try the story version.
I noticed that the graphics style of Ori and The Will of The Wisps is very similar to Seasons After Fall, it's a beautiful game and one you should play if you haven't already! I love your channel and these videos give me another reason to go broke lol
You should check "BATBARIAN" it's new but a bit buried in the eshop (so many games...). It's a Metroidvania with a blend of humour and puzzle where you play a barbarian and his glowing vegeterian bat!
I'd suggest you (and the viewers) to try these indie games: Screencheat, Crawl, Punch club, Thief simulator,911 operator. These are cheap, many times on eshop sale, and good games.

Playing Spiritfarer via gamepass and it really is a fantastic game. I enjoy management sims and the game has wonderful storytelling. Worth a try. I didn't pay $30 for it, but it is worth that if you want the switch version.
I did the same thing and finished it last night! I only got a month of game pass though, so I had to say goodbye to the game too lol. I'll definitely want to buy the game sometime so I can replay it down the road.

I LOVE SPIRITFARER. It's such a good game. I'm crying every time I need to take someone "to the ranch". Spending time in that beautiful world is truly awesome. BUT (technically) the game is not perfect. Framerate drops awfully in events, it glitches out the visuals from time to time and it kicked me quite a few times with an error screen. There are even occasions when dialogues glitch out or appear too late, finishing/starting tasks when you don't expect them to. Hope the studio patches up all the bugs, because it is really good therapeutic game.
As a Belgian, Stella Artois is a mystery to me. No one here would consider Stella as their favourite beer. It's a standard industrial beer. Yet, outside of our borders it is perhaps the best known - and least representative quality-wise - of "Belgian beer".
If you like beer, do yourself a favour and look beyond Stella's marketing a seek out other Belgian options. There are litteraly thousands to chose from. Hope you enjoy!
Most bottleshops don't stock too many different beers. Stella is in every bottleshop and bar here in Australia, but to find other Belgian beer I would have to look harder. So it's just famous because of how common it is.

But what's the purpose of hunting the monsters anyway? Is there an overall objective for killing them? I don't want to spend hours upon hours hunting/fighting boss after boss, only for it to never amount to anything.

I played The Long Dark's open beta (never got around to the finished game) and I really loved it evenwithout any story. I wrote in the journal and made my own harrowingstory, lol. I need to finally try the story version.

You should check "BATBARIAN" it's new but a bit buried in the eshop (so many games...). It's a Metroidvania with a blend of humour and puzzle where you play a barbarian and his glowing vegeterian bat!

I'd suggest you (and the viewers) to try these indie games: Screencheat, Crawl, Punch club, Thief simulator,911 operator. These are cheap, many times on eshop sale, and good games.
